Parents: "We have no colour preference... as long as it´s red..." :-) I think all three lehengas are very pretty, but the navy blue one with the peacocks was my favourite by far.
What I'm thinking: If they had the time to do custom, then why not get the peacock in a different color, that graduates down to a perfect color to highlight them?
Not pleased with the parents. Bullying is bullying, even when they're parents. It's a new era. Also its for the reception not the wedding, so she shouldn't have to wear red at both ceremonies. Just don't like to see people being bullies. The groom was fine with it and it's their reception.
Right. She intro'd herself saying she wants light florals for a summer wedding. Then she tells the shop she wants velvet but no particular color in mind. Then the whole family acts like they wanted dark, heavy options. I don't think Hassan's black sherwani went with her red lehenga.
You know, not everyone has a preset idea in mind- they were a no budget buyer so it’s already part of the service. Not really an eye roll situation to me Evy.
I think the parents had something entirely different in mind than the bride and groom.. which as an American, I find very difficult to watch all of the young people giving up what they want to please their parents. The blue was GORGEOUS on her!
There must be things that are said off camera, there are many times on the show they refer back to non-existent conversations...I really wish we could hear the whole thing...
Maybe she wore a different color or style of dress for wedding? They only showed reception pictures and that’s why they are okay with red color for reception
I wonder if the colors get distorted in the video. Many of us liked the dark blue and saw its beauty. Reds and pinks show up differently on television.
. I agree. The bride looked good in the navy blue peacock outfit but the parents were (especially the mother) fixated on a red outfit for the reception because it's traditional. Maybe for the ceremony but not necessarily for the reception does she have to wear red.
The peacock dress was stunning; unique and not like most of the ones we have already seen on the show. The cut and fit on the groom of the second shervani was the best I've ever seen. Surely there was one available in the same style but with embroidery work on it. I would have loved to see her in pink and he in the second shervani, embroidered in black.
Well this is probably the mother's turn because her dress might have been picked up by her mother too. That's how Indian wedding are. It's so little about the couple getting married and so much about the families. I love the Navy too, infact I decided to watch this video because of the thumbnail.
I feel bad if her wedding dress is red & the reception dress is red too . Sounds like my closet all dresses are black except 2 one teal embroidered with dark teal & one black & white body con that’s it. Every thing is black & I am not goth just have attended too many funerals these last years not enough weddings , that’s the 2 not black dresses.
I know i loved the navy. The work on it was so unique. Besides the wedding outfit is almost always red so why have red for the reception. I like his 2nd jacket the best. The cut was so awesome. They should have taken that jacket and bling it up.
do you have any color preferences? No. i really like velvet. no preferred style she likes all your lehenga. later on: we came in with a red legenga in mind. ladyy wtf?
We are on Season 3 now, we need to mix it up. Who wears all those beautiful multi colored dresses, that we never see on this show. If its dancers or guest or who ever, we need a show on that!! Enough of the mono tone brides. Just one Episode, please.
I want to know who wears the tummy bearing lehengas. So often I hear the bride's mom saying the lehenga is showing too much skin, and I want to know why they're made that way since no one seems to want them.
who gets a red reception lehenga? red is supposed to be for the wedding ceremony if for anything. A reception is not traditional lol its just a party. But to each their own.
Hands down I think the Navy blue one was the better choice for the reception, nothing is wrong with the red, but I think it looked better for the wedding and not the reception! Reception is where you would normally break away from the red and go a bit darker.
Have seen that red dress a million times. Beautiful, but nothing memorable. The blue was different and festive. It stood out! The peacock patterns were stunning in it...
I think the parents had something entirely different in mind than the bride and groom.. which as an American, I find very difficult to watch all of the young people giving up what they want to please their parents. The blue was GORGEOUS on her!
@ there were actually bridesmaids in some episodes. Growing up in America I guess you also adapt to some customs that are not traditional in Indian cultures. Anyways, we don´t need to call them bridesmaids specifically. We just want to see more dresses :D so we can say we want to see the dresses of the guests :D
It's such a pity she didn't take the navy lehenga. It was soooo beautiful and unique! I'm not saying the red one isn't beautiful as well, but it's such ordinary bridal wear. The navy would have been something really special.
So many brides....so much red. Traditional is nice but this is a reception. Parents just reliving their day. It was just cruel to watch. Nice to see original brides instead of traditional. 20 years from now, she'll look back and remember the disappointment.
Yes, but those are traditional safe colors. Few want to brave beyond that and break tradition. The same argument could be said about white western wedding dresses.
The second I see a different color it just stands out so much! Such a shame they all cam with "I have no color preferences, I want something different and unique". And then it's red all over
The Navy Blue Lengha is stunning and the second Military style Shervani too. But dear Shia and Co., please show us some episodes of wedding gueats or dancers or bridesmaids, we would like to see people trying all the different styles in the store
I didn't like any of the lehengas she tried on..all of them kind of made her torso look short..I don't know, there is something missing.. maybe it's the velvet material..
Ikr. They're insane. In India they will happily give you that cut sherwani and the work on it! Best of both worlds! They didn't show him a SINGLE piece with work on in that pattern. Obviously it was plain for a wedding guest also. He said he showed that for pattern. But hello, are you kidding me you've only ONE outfit in that pattern?
All 3 options looked amazing on this bride. BTW, my jaw dropped when the Mom was introduced, they look like sisters. P.S. I am obsessed with the bride's boots. Burberry?
I love watching this, the clothing is so different to what I wore, I'm Scottish and live in England, but watching this gives me the feeling of still being able to travel. I have not yet seen one bride that doesn't look beautiful. I hope their is many shows on the way. x
Every time I watch one of these, I think to myself, I wish I had a reason to buy and wear one! Alas, that's probably a VERY low possibility. 😉 You guys are so good at your job. I love seeing the bride and groom find just the perfect outfit. ❤💖
Luvvvv it all. I will never be a Nazranaa or Indian bride, but this my favvvv bridal show to watch. Also I luv how everyone is natural looking, all the brides friends are not all shot up with Botox or have injectables nor chests jacked up right near their collarbone. I just appreciate how normal and naturally lovely everyone looks.
I'm White European American, but I appreciate the beading and embroidery. I looked at their online stock since I am local to them and they do seem to have a stock of gowns that I could wear without it being me trying to dress like I'm Indian or had any connection to the culture (I don't, just a Bollywood lover since college). My Indian friend keeps saying she wants an excuse to buy something from there and I was like "girl, my wedding, come looking your best in a beautiful outfit from Nazranaa if you want"
Shashank is so much of a smoother and more hospitable host than Shia. He addresses everyone is good full sentences and has a smooth flow to transitions. Really appreciate his growth through the seasons
1. This was supposed to be a night time event but it wasn't? 2. They first said they had no colour in mind but then kept going on and on about red? 3. The bride said she didn't have any colour in mind but she had the decor colours and floral patterns in mind when she came in?
The bride looked beautiful in all three outfits. I'm glad she chose the one that made her feel her best.I really liked the blue sherwani for the groom, but the one he selected with the customizations was perfect in matching his bride's outfit.
I had the opportunity to be a bridesmaid at a Indian wedding. I wore light green and gold, the other bridesmaid wore peach and silver and the bride wore red and gold. We had a blast.. The pictures came out awsome.
I don't really understand why every bride wants a red. Like please it's a reception and you'll be wearing a red for your marriage as well Why did she say she's open to different colours
I guess we are unaware then, forgive us white folk! Looks like the majority of us Loved the Peacocks and the groom in the navy blue jacket! Love this show!

I think they should go back and both buy the navy outfits and take professional photos again, they would have looked so stunning and modern together. Regardless, congratulations to the beautiful couple!
Red maybe bridal but it’s cliched. The navy blue lehenga was way better than the red one.
It definitely was my favorite too! The color popped on her! 😍
I agree!
She looked good in all 3. I do feel like I've seen the red dress on most every woman in this show.
and also literally no one wears red for reception as they already wear it in the actual wedding , its soo weird
She should have gotten the blue with peacock. She looked lovely, but for the viewer, it was a disappointment.

The red one was simply ‘another’ outfit but the navy blue with complementary blush pink, now that was something ! Looked best on her !
I mean that blue one with the peacocks....I want it just to wear around the house and be fabulous for no reason.

Oh my dear!
Stay positive, I’m sure your father doesn’t want you to worry.
Don’t focus on news, I found that’s made it easier to get through the past lockdowns.

Actually the navy blue lengha was really beautiful. It's the first dress from Nazranaa that I've liked.
Rich people don't have taste. That lehanga is tacky af man wtf. I really liked the green one
Yes
My favourite was the green one
It was elegant
I think they should go back and both buy the navy outfits and take professional photos again, they would have looked so stunning and modern together. Regardless, congratulations to the beautiful couple!
They both looked great. I loved this group no drama
