As a side note. I adjusted both front and rear inserts to 1/2 turn from full soft. I have not tested this on an autoX circuit or a road course, but it feels stiffer and better planted than stock.

I'm about to do this exact job and wanted to ask about bump stops. Did you use any for the rear shocks or do the koni's not need them?

From what I recall, Konis did come with their own bump stops.

Good job on the video I’m new to the C3 community I just picked one up. Between 40 and 45 miles an hour or under 3000 RPMs I get a small vibration knocking at the rear end do you think it would just be shocks? Thanks for your help sir Oscar

It's hard to say, but it doesn't sound like bad shocks. However, if you are on the original ones, they are definitely due for replacement regardless of the mileage. Our cars are over 20 years old at this point.

I am a new Z3 (1998, 85K miles) owner and dealer just told me the shocks need to be replaced, do i have to replace the springs as well? or should I just do it anyway while changing shocks? I think i can do this, although I am rather new to these tasks....

No, it's not necessary to replace the springs if yours aren't cracking. I replaced mine because I wanted to lower the car a bit.

@@CarGuy1 Did you have any issues on wheel alignment after it was lowered?

@@BCanonoy None whatsoever. I have a local shop with a pretty high end rack (Beisbarth) that was able to dial it in without any issues.
