Hi all 👋 I've seen a few comments saying it's not working. Be sure to add a space after the existing launch options, before pasting the additional options. I've included this in the video description but it doesn't display very well on TH-cam.
@NerdZap Same here - Added the space, but it just stuck and keeps sending me back to the launcher created, the tutorial was very easy to follow, but I don't know what I did wrong after following everything
worked perfectly here :) didn't have a mouse or keyboard to plug it in, but its totally possible to do it using just the steam deck. the whole process, including using the touch screen to type every single code digit, took me about 15 minutes. all you need is a little patience. thanks, op!
Make sure you do this step with Microsoft listed on their site: Now, navigate to Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) in the Steam Library, right-click it, and select Manage > Controller layout. In the Steam Controller Configurator, select BROWSE CONFIGS. Under Templates, select Gamepad with Mouse Trackpad. Select APPLY CONFIGURATION, then select DONE.
So I managed to get everything to work, except when I click launch (Play) it says Launching with the Steam loading icon, then it closes and reopens the launcher page again. Any idea how to fix??
Followed along and verified the konsole command and launch command are correct but doesnt launch from game mode. Briefly shows the stean loading splash screen then immediately crashes
@@Montague38 I ended up using xbplay from the steam store. It was like $6 but once it downloaded, I opened it, logged into my Microsoft account and within minutes I was remote playing RDR2 from xbox on my deck. That's all I wanted to be able to do so I can finish the couple games I actually bought on there instead of buying again and starting over on steam. I might get rid of the console and go back to pc only again. Use the deck until I save enough to build another decent pc.

Hi. It should detect it as a controller, as long as you're using MS Edge and you ran the Konsole command to give it access to the Steam Deck controls: flatpak --user override --filesystem=/run/udev:ro com.microsoft.Edge
The process worked to get Xbox cloud gaming to launch, but then when I go to sign in… the keyboard functionality isn’t working so I can’t log in to Microsoft! Any suggestions?

I haven't turned on my xbox in over a year, can I still use Xbox Cloud Gaming (beta) without the xbox being powered on? Also,do you need xbox live to make it work? My goal is to play my purchased games on xbox without being powered on through my steamdeck.
Its neccesary to own an xbox? i mean i oay game pass because i have a desktop and i can download the games withouth the xbox no need cloud, i can di the same with th steam deck?
Worked great for me. Tried out Forza Horizon 5 on there and then some Forntnite and it ran well. Closed it and then wanted to try another game out but, now it says that it has no connection. Weird since I literally put the steam deck to sleep and instantly woke it up but, I will figure that out later.

there’s no way to take that scroll thing off the side so it can be completely full screen? i had it before where it was just like any other app now i can’t seem to find that same tutorial..this is the most satisfying option i’ve found tho

The konsole command doesn't add Microsoft Edge to the steam library and adding it in manually leads to it not working. i absolute abhor linux, worst operating system on the planet
Didn't work for my. Pasted the link in Konsole and it threw an error code. Also when I downloaded edge it came up as edge woth a white paper icon. Something isn't doing whatever your is doing. Guess I'm SOL

If you have recurring billing turned on, then it will automatically re-subscribe and charge your card.

Step 1 - Relax, calm down. It's going to be Ok.
Step 2 - Hold down the Steam button and press X.
Mistake: you need to put "Space" before adding the Launch command.
