  • No I really didn't get this for my wife but the scroll saw gift is true! If you want to see the TIG side of things check out my other video where I focus just on the TIG portion of things. If you want to know whats inside Harbor Freight Titanium Multi Process welder take a look and you'll see. This guy is a lower end model to the Vulcan Omni Pro. That is because the duty cycles are not as high and the tig is only a scratch start vs the high frequency start the Vulcan has. Still a huge step up from the Chicago Electric brand welders. I think Harbor Freight tools wants to start raising the bar and competing with some of the mid market machines, like your Lincoln, Hobart, and Miller.
Watch if you want to see it in action and my thoughts.
here is what the website says about it.
"The Titanium™ Unlimited 200™ Professional Multiprocess Welder is lightweight, reliable and easy to use. This all-purpose multiprocess welder handles MIG, Stick (DC), TIG (DC), or Flux-core welding. Weld a wide range of materials with fast, easy set-up. Plug into any power supply with the included power cables. Ready to weld out of the box."
Keep in mind when they say ready to weld out of the box it can only do Flux core. If you want to do stick you'll need electrodes, if you want to do Mig you'll need welding gas, C25 or CO2, If you want to do TIG you'll need Argon and tungsten. Hope this helps you decide which welding process you would like to do.

If you are looking for an SG for this machine, I purchased the Klutch 150 from Northern Tool and it has the same connections for the trigger, DC, and gas and worked great. I cut off the loop on the DC cable and replaced it with a 10-25 DINSE connector so I didn't have to bolt it to the MIG outlet each time.

Anyone else notices a slight delay between pressing the trigger and wire feed? Once you press the trigger, gas starts flowing immediately but wire takes a second to start feeding. Not ideal for stop and go welding. Not sure if it's just my machine, settings, or that's how it is?

    • @-DIYPRO-
      @-DIYPRO-  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Yes that is a feature. Nice machines you can change that setting. The idea is you want the gas to be flowing before the weld starts so there is no contamination on your weld starts.

Does your mig welding wire speed limit at 275 ? I bought two titanium200 and do both limit at 275 connecting to a 110 outlet … the chart on the machine says wire can reach 400 at 110

Do you have to use shielding gas for Flux/Mig was in this machine?

    • @-DIYPRO-
      @-DIYPRO-  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

This machine can do either flux core which does not use shielding gas but it's more expensive for the wire or you can get solid core which does require shielding gas.
