I have the same welder, bought it for my service truck. That welder is surprisingly fantastic. I welded a rear housing together today and I was hammering that thing. 21 volts, 310 wire speed, and hanging on the trigger. Can believe that I didn't duty cycle that thing. I am very impressed.

Thanks for doing the video. I'm interested in both the Vulcan and Titanium so it's good to see someone actually putting them to the test. Couple of things. You don't need (and shouldn't use) Teflon tape on the any threads that have a conical seat such as on the regulator. Your thinking is that you are sealing the threads but the actual sealing is done on the face of the cone. You're just wasting your time. The other thing is the way you sharpened your tungsten. Yes chucking it into a drill to spin it is easy but buy doing this you leave swirls around the face of the tungsten which will screw you up. The correct why is to do it by hand. Sharpen it a bit. Turn it a little, sharpen another side, then turn and sharpen another, and so forth. The grind marks should be along the length of tungsten, not around it.

Teflon tape is a lubricant that helps tighten fittings in plumbing and other applications, not for use on any compressed gas fittings. As stated by others it has tapered fittings that are by design are supposed to be self sealing. Safety first Bro.

Air compressor fittings are tapered pipe threads, so the regular white thread seal tape works fine. Those are made to be used together, high pressure tapered seat brass gas fittings (oxygen, acetylene, argon, etc) are different.

From other videos you want about 10 to 15 cfh of gas flow. That isn't 10 to 15 psi as shown on your regulator. The regulator doesn't indicate how much gas is flowing. At 10cfh that 20cuft bottle should last about 2 hours.

You don't need Teflon tape on a POL fitting period ! the seal is made with the surface area on the POL metal to metal contact , Teflon tape is nothing more in this application than a distraction.
If all else fails and you just put the POL fitting together dry and you still have a leak then the POL has a gouge in it and doesn't mate up properly, this can readily be resolved with a light application of Johnson controls gas valve grease applied to the POL SPARINGLY. ! FYI

To the best of my knowledge the Titanium cannot be used with a foot pedal. You might want to confirm this with HF (if you can find someone there that knows anything) but I'm pretty certain you can't.

Thanks. I figured that out. It doesn't have a connection for a foot petal. I did find a spool gun for it however. The Klutch 150 SG has that same 5 pin connector and quick connect gas line. Works fine on the Titanium 200. I cut off the DC loop and replaced it with a DINSE connector as it was too difficult to connect it to the MIG wire feeder as designed.
