Is there a reason you prefer the 7.62mm tank lmg over the 12.7mm?
Not really. I think both are a good choice. Maybe the only thing that makes me lean towards the 7.62mm is that you don't get punished for missing a few shots as the fire rate is faster and you can make up for missed shots quickly. 12.7mm is much better if you know that you won't miss any shots haha. Also 7.62mm is slightly easier to time and calculate lead for longer distances, but nothing considarable. So I think it's down to personal preference.
Btw, your HE round recommendation was clutch. I've been having much better breakthrough matches, although with running out of ammo being a more common occurrence. Thanks!

This match was tough to watch. Firstly, 2042 probably has the worst dynamics for tank warfare. Almost every map feels like a tank trap, especially this one. Secondly, there are so many lock-on weapons, and the enemy seems to have an unlimited supply of them. I'm grateful for the "dedicated" engineer who kept fixing you up, and your APS system really saved the day. Lastly, there are so many angles the enemy can shoot at you from above, whether it's from the hills on the left or from the crane campers. Once again, great job on your defensive driving technique. It's definitely the way to go. Charging headlong into the enemy with armored vehicles like in BF3 or BF4 and stomping them out is a thing of the past 😢
