I've been able to have CMP affiliation through the American Legion. Such an awesome program. That facility is incredible . I get the newsletter from them and they show a lot of thier programs and facility and I'll tell you they do not do justice to what you have shown us. Great filming! I thought I was watching an episode of Shooting USA. I have also been fortunate to have bought an M1 Grarand from them...my favorite rifle.
What butifule range. Wish their was range like that closer to me. Be amazing. To shoot at place like that. I use lot are state ranges here in pa lot them use a over haul or made little bigger
#1 🍀 That range is sooo sweet. Will they be able to expand and extend to 1k and beyond? I was surprised they did not have a longer range(s). I really dig automated targets. Having a profile target blade front and come racing at you on the firing line really helps reinforce mental quickness. No cracks about being slow, Yo 😅
i do not know for sure, the CMP is a bit complicated as it is sort of a government entity but then not really. as far as i know, no tax dollars goes into the CMP... but don't hold me to that because i do not know for sure. private funding from other clubs, organizations and donors make it all happen. there are all sorts of grants range grants available through the NRA, so I have no doubt some comes from there. then they do make money on courses, matches, daily fees, etc too. so yeah, like i said, complicated.

no clue on expansion, didn't ask many questions on the range side of things, probably should have
we did talk about the age of the range, how it was built and how the auto target systems work, that is about it
