Fantastic. Many have been brought up to fear death, so much is hidden and never spoken about. Seeing the ossuaries is a wonderful and intimate experience giving us a deeper connection to life and ourselves.
Hi there! Have you ever been to the Czech Republic? In the town of Kutna Hora, there’s a chapel (Sedlec Ossuary) with decorations made entirely out of bones. Pretty spectacular, I’d say.
It's a practice that has been going on in Europe and beyond for centuries and is a Christian practice. I made a more in depth video on ossuaries here - th-cam.com/video/SipaOBZMgIQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=liJWjT2ke42tRdhu

Absolutely! I'm glad you share the same understanding.
The old medieval walled cities are cool. Derry, NI has them, and I love to walk the walls every year when I go.
great video, thank you
Pleasure as always!
The interior of the church is astonishing!
It was indeed beautiful!
What a beautiful town, church and ossuary. I love that you show your trials to find the sites too. It reminds me of one of our expeditions 😂
Thanks for the kind words. Finding it is around 80% of the battle!
Lovely visit 💀💀💀 great job again with the editing 👌🏻
Thank you as always!

Hey, good to hear from you again!
And yes, that was, in fact, the first ossuary I've ever been to, and I've been there again since. Spectacular place.
Ots been a long time since I've seen anywhere that quiet. Did you even see any other people..
The odd person walking around the main square, and who I saw when I went into the shops I went into, and that's it!
Wow man, the footage you got was not too bad actually! I wonder if it was christianisation of pagan folk to arrange their bones in jesus symbols...?

I think it was an appropriated pre Christian practice.
