  • On a summer's day in the southern English county of Dorset, I embark on an adventure to some rural locations holding relics from our ancient past. The magic and mysticism of our land was really in the air throughout the day, making this a very joyful experience.

Thank you so much, mate! I made a point of improving my skills on this video, so to see this as the first comment has really shown that it worked!

Hey lovely man! Never apologise for the amount of content you put out. Your followers support you for you, not the content. You bring so much joy with your genuineness and enthusiasm, and I for one learn something new with every video you put out. Having said that, it is far more important to me that you look after yourself and don't burn yourself out. You are a precious soul and the universe is made richer because of your place in it😊 Rob H from Cymru xxx

That's very kind of you to say, Rob. I'm definitely feeling a lot better since then, the trip abroad really helped.
I'll never forget how valuable my audience is, you are all a blessing. Especially the likes of you, who have gone that extra mile to join up to my Patreon.
      Thank you🤝

Great to see these sites again. Until recently I lived in Dorset and used to walk this exact route to visit these ancient sites. There's a real energy out there like you say, particularly at Grey Mare. I never saw anybody else either! Later on i met the landowners for Grey Mare and they have some ancient waymarkers on their land too, i forget where exactly unfortunately.
Another one off the beaten path is the Harpstone near Corfe. It's pretty hidden in a field boundary and sometimes overgrown but a nice menhir all the same.
Oh and that building you saw in the distance looks like St Catherine's Chapel.
    Great video!

That whole area round the Winterbornes down to the coast is littered with mounds and barrows and relic sites, awesome, you can wander about for hours and not visit them all.

À magical route. I did a similar route as you with my wife before she passed a few years back. We parked at the Hardy Monument, and did the same route but came back via the Valley of the Stones. Last year the kids and I did the same route as a kinda of pilgrimage to her. It's magical. We also went down into Abbotsbury and visited St Catherine's Tower, which is the building you saw in the distance. The other two stones circles would be Rempstone near Corfe and Nine Stones down in Winterborne Abbas. Make sure to visit Nine Barrow Down on the ridge above Rempstone too.

What a lovely story! I walked past the Valley of Stones, but I thought I'd save it for next time.
Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely make a note!

Love the soundtrack too… not sure I like the energy of that brick thing though. I might feel differently once I know who built it and why… thanks for taking us with you. ✨👍🏼✨

I've ventured to the Hell Stone Dolmen on a very wet and windy day. Wasn't my best idea 😄 I didn't make it to the other stone circles nearby, but do hope to return someday.
Great video! Good to see like-minded folk out and about 😊
