Do what I do. Increase the difficulty. The enemy will force you to focus on them by punishing you for not looking where your suppose to. If your female character gets brutally murdered, its your fault and you have no one else to blame but yourself. Also "GET GOOD SCRUB!" is very fitting in this topic. Think about how Dead or Alive players win matches with their female characters of choice in an attractive outfit.

Also on Steam none of the Dark Souls Games are tagged as a JRPG either. The game CrossCode though which is developed by Germans is considered a JRPG.

The weathering on the player character after taking damage is a simple simple thing to accomplish at this point in 3D graphics I mean a ton of games have done it even RPGs like Inquisition does it also. You come out of a fight and is blood all over you.
This game seems to be taking the best elements from Sekiro, NieR, and Devil May Cry... and that, for me, sounds like perfection. It also, of course, offers its own take on the genre, with a lot of essence and identity. Looks interesting, smooth, and gorgeous to say the least! Fingers crossed it ends up being a superb experience worthy of lots of 10/10 scores.

Only downside is the hair consistently clipping through her body... That and maybe the monster attacks being hard to read, but that could be because there's no context for the learning curve of the game.

So 1 part Kingdom Hearts II and III combat 1 part Neir Automata and Replacement 1 part Final Fantasies VII RE:MAKE XV and XVI. 1 part Devil may cry and 1 bayonetta and 9 parts of Platinum games style action. And 95 percent the enjoyment of good ps2 and 4 percent dead space and silent hill golden age games and 100 percent fanservice that hopefully Sony won't censor
yeah, it seems like they have plenty in the animations department, but not enough game feel. The walking looks a bit stiff and slow, not a lot of feedback on hitting enemy, etc.
One handed swords are more slicing than weighted strikes. She needs a greatsword later on. This is called breaking skin and it's realistic in that sense. Also swords don't typically weigh that much. Bows can require more muscle.

They can do it much better, Phantom or ghosting or whatever you call it, can be largly corrected by using new collisions detection tech

The blocking makes it seem like the attacks have no weight all of the attacks look they don't have weight from each opposing side
