SEIKAI AND DAIJOUBU-P MENTIONED!!! The song “The Name” is connected to another Daijoubu-P song called “The face” and I personally think both songs are about trauma repression. I love Daijoubu-P’s music because it’s, for a lack of a better word, real.. I mean that in the sense of as someone who struggles with a lot of the themes he portrays in his music [s word girl is a big example of this] it really does capture how scary it is to go through those kinds of things. I can’t really describe in words what goes through my mind as someone who is mentally ill but it’s a lot like his songs.
I can definitely agree with that, if he is actually struggling with something instead of just erratic for the sake of it. Still don't like the sound of his music but I can appreciate someone venting!
Something i love about kikuo and Muship is that even if their music is disturbing people still find comfort in them. I know that the lyrics are disturbing but reading the comments on each video shows that people can find that they relate to the music and are encouraging each other to keep going. It's amazing how music can effect so many people and bring them together despite what the lyrics may mean. Also if anyone is reading this and is going through a hard time just know that you are valued and someone is always willing to help.
The song "Bloody Mary" gives us an insight into what a remake of "Interface" (Lost media) should sound like, it's just that both songs (Or at least the fragment of "Interface") sound very similar, so yes, Shroomy clearly made a slow version of this song (He already did it was said that the remake was too slow), so yes, this song, ironically, would be very helpful in creating a new version of this song much closer to the original (Which, unfortunately, as I mentioned, is lost media), the fact that "Bloody Mary" and "Interface" were created in the same year also helps
Ah the old era of yandere vocaloid songs. Yeah a lot of them are the same but I wonder if you'll say you're sorry by Machigerta P just hits different. Fun fact: Even though the Gakupou version is the most popular, the original uses Gumi.
24:09 I can guarantee you that MASA also included necrophilia, since it's heavily implied that the lady played by gumi either SAs the corpse or simply "enjoys herself" to the sight of the corpse. There are lyrics that detail this and while the song slaps and the series in intriguing to me from a psychological perspective, Masa is a fuckin WEIRDO for including this.
also, 27:48 I can definitely confirm from lyric analysis that 1.) her father's SA on/against her kind of conditions her in a way that due to her very young age, she either feels its normal so her disgust translates to her apologizing for it, or she's never taught the issue so she apologizes for her reactions. 2.) the boy isn't someone who she gets explicit with, he's her older brother who tries (and temporarily succeeds) in removing her from that environment and acting like a genuinely good father figure (aka, he doesn't SA her, he treats her with care, and it's implied he suffered similar abuse from their father.). The poor girl is confused by this, and eventually runs away back to her father, where the abuse continues much more horrifically. Actually I'm somewhat certain that the father has his friends join in on the abuse so there's that.
29:27 FINALLY SOMEONE MENTIONED THESE SONGS!!!! I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO MENTION THESE ONES!!! Nobody mentions these fucked up but unfortunate songs about r@pe and SA which just makes me kinda sad. Like gomenne gomenne gets a lot of attention and has the same topic but as the bottom three but gets no mention in particular? (You've earned my respect now)
On Daijoubu-P topic, I consider one of the most disturbing songs that he made is Vomiting, the MV is too explicit, it appears Miku in a bikini (?) and a person vomiting almost all the song, Miku also does, and the music it's too distorsioned like many of his songs. Literally it's very gross. 😬 Too explicit that Nico Nico deleted that song for considering very gross and explicit, only was on It just 3 days. There's also a "censored" version of that song.
Honestly even as someone who loves to make up horror stories, even I found some of the songs (mostly the very bottom ones) too disturbing for me. Also Daijoubu P is kind of a guilty pleasure for me because even though I would not listen to most of songs very often due to how as you described overstimulating, but something about him and his songs and PVs that is so intresting to me, he's just so facinating to me, maybe because of how unique and how bizzare they are, I just can't help but love them.
Throughout this whole list, I thought about two things: 1. I'm surprised there's only two Maretu songs. I definitely think those two are the most disturbing of his, but it seems like disturbing subject is his forte. I love how his lyrics are written, being both vague yet clear. It really encapsulates how complex some of the topics are, yet how painful and disgusting it all is. 2. WHERE IS BABUCHAN?? Babuchan makes a lot of songs, and most of them revolve around dark topics about childhood and loss of innocence. Their lyrics can be vague at times, but you get a clear understanding of what it's implying or focusing on. It's nowhere near as comforting as Kikuo's songs, but they are bangers and the use of more abrasive and unsettling sounds amplify the despair and pain associated with them. My top two of theirs are "Ballooon Syndrome" and "LOLOLOL". Also, Candy House's lyrics... It's also shocking that it's made by the same artist who made "Color & Harmony" (one of my personal favorite by Muship), so it's so surreal to see that they're made by the same individual. I just retracted my last statement about Candy House to say this: After taking another listen, I feel like it's meant to encapsulate hypersexuality after sexual trauma, and how victims end up finding comfort because of how familiar it is to them. Or, in a sense, to feel a sense of reclaiming control of their own body after it was stripped away from them after the experience. Similar to how in Gommene Gommene, the girl couldn't take the boy's comfort because she wasn't familiar with it + the guilt she felt for abandoning her father, which would lead to her running back to him. Abuse can warp someone's perception on what love and healthy relationships are supposed to be, so genuinely healthy love can be scary for them because of how their mind has been conditioned, and it can have an effect on their relationships even years afterward. The lyrics are absolutely graphic, and the way Candy House's lyrics shifted from begging it to stop to the opposite was extremely difficult to read and listen to.
holy moly , the videos here went all out with some trauma and to speak about seikai and his our anniversary song , it appears that song is also a trilogy with the other songs being "My Date" and "My Death Day" , i think the songs are sort of prequels or sequels and its just miku saying how she's learn on how to hate the world around her due to the bullying and eventually uh........ not existing well in my own thoughts i think it's also implied she was killed by someone else but still everything is just werid , and even includes more disturbing and nonsencial jumpscares so uh yeahhh but over all great vid , Lu :]
Oh boy that sounds like an intensive triology then, geez! Interesting to see so many people know Seikai really really then, I've honestly never heard of his music before.
As a MARETU fan, I'm impressed he isn't here more. I'd like to add some more of his songs to the list (a lot of censoring below) Suji - About CSA from the predator's point of view. Binomi - Detailed cannibalism And an extra one that i think is VERY disturbing to listen to despite having no discernable meaning or lyrics from his Fried Eye album, this song is called Fried Eye like the album, and honestly it disturbed even me a little.
I'm surprised too, like you pointed out his songs can be SUPER dark!!! Binomi, though, is actually a recent favorite of mine after a vtuber I like did a really good cover. Thoguh Fried Eye reminds me of a B-grade Japanese horror movie I saw a review for years ago about some lady eating herself lol
@@WeebaLu MARETU is impressive because of how he can make you uncomfortable with just audio, Fried Eye is a wild experience, it really is like a very gory horror movie... I wonder what it means too. Awesome video btw!!

crushed mary is about Tsutomu Miyazaki/the otaku killer first victim, Mari Konno On 22 August 1988, one day after Miyazaki's 26th birthday, 4 year old Mari Konno, vanished while playing at a friend's house. Miyazaki had led Konno into his car, then drove westward of Tokyo and parked the car under a bridge in a wooded area. There, he sat alongside Konno for half an hour before murdering her and molesting her corpse. He dumped her body in the hills near his home, departing with her clothes, then allowed the body to decompose before returning to remove her hands and feet, which he kept in his closet. Miyazaki burned Konno's remaining bones in his furnace, ground them into powder, and sent them to her family in a box along with several of her teeth, photos of her clothes, and a postcard which read, ("Mari. Bones. Cremated. Investigate. Prove.") Konno's hands and feet were found in Miyazaki's closet after his arrest almost a year later
I don't think so when the song's title is in English on NicoNico and is "Mary", otherwise it would be "Mari" or include the Hiragana/Kanji for the name "Mari". The words "crushed" implies that someone was compressed and while that's horrible and gruesome, it doesn't sound as though she was compressed. I can see the inspiration if there is one, but honestly I don't think it's based on any particular person or case.
you did a great job covering this iceberg! definitely a very laborious one to cover so i appreciate the effort you put into this. (very long ramble below this) in my personal opinion, that woman has more than one possible interpretation. some of the lyrics in the beginning of the song sound more like she had feelings for someone she wasn't in a relationship in. "the vague tomorrow that 'i know' " suggests that she already knew he didn't want her, "the lost reality that 'can't come true' " suggests that the reality (of them being together) was never true, "a love that can't bloom" suggests that there was no love for her to begin with, and "dreams of dreams" sounds like she was fantasizing (dream 1) about being with this person (dream 2; the relationship itself is a dream). with this interpretation, i think that she became heartbroken upon figuring out her love interest had a girlfriend and started fantasizing about attacking her. first is the part where she stabs the picture of the girl, then there's the part where she "actually" kills the girl. i say "actually" because i think it could be a fantasy or something else not rooted in reality. she starts to spiral, then she just so happens to spot the guy and his girlfriend kissing, then she just so happens to have a weapon, then the guy just so happens to stay around long enough for her to be happy again(?), then she opens her eyes again -- but had her eyes been open, she wouldn't have been able to describe the killing of the other woman in such graphic detail (the translation with this part uncensored is on vocadb, if anyone can't find it). she also says a rainbow envelops her and the guy and that it's "gushing out profusely", which could just be metaphorical, but obviously that doesn't actually happen when you kill someone.

she'd been retweeting things from anti-lgbt organizations, and when called out she made a now-deleted apology where she basically said "oh, i just don't support men who dress up as women to harass women in bathrooms" (which is transphobic rhetoric, btw. it doesn't actually happen) and also said there's no queerphobia in japan, which is... lmao
i was super disappointed when i saw it bc i used to be such a fan too 😥 but all must suffer with me
update: i am suing you for the psychic damage incurred after listening to candy house. that song's just gross and f*tishy, and the fact it was apparently inspired by gomenne gomenne is infuriating
Crying and shaking from point 4

RGGR isn't based on any real case. Machigerita has once stated he wrote the lyrics during a train ride. He must've just been bored or something. 😅
@@perofan1424 oof. my info was faulty then

What’s the weirdest vocaloid to ever exist in your opinion? I’m curious. This question is for everyone, btw.
It's a tie between Gachapoid and Sonika. Both have really weird voices and making a Vocaloid of a children's character is just so odd to me. Lol
Teto really started out as an april foos joke and now is the most popular synthv/utau
Gachapoid but other than him, Hiyama Kiyoteru
Who thought he was a good idea. Bro is just fan service the vocaloid.
@Raventeawrites she’s an official vocaloid now! It was her dream
@@FaeFixion She's a synth v. Not a vocaloid and she doesn't write anything as Teto is a software
