2020 Nissan Kicks SV Interior Review (Beth + Matt)

- Beth and I review the interior on the mid-grade SV trim of the 2020 Nissan Kicks. With a price of just $21,595 for this SV trim and starting prices of just $19,965, not only is the Kicks a pretty strong value, but it's also one of the roomier interiors in this segment. It also has some nice touches like padded knee rests and a partially digital gauge cluster. For only about $2,000 more though, we'd recommend getting the SR Premium trim with it's faux-leather heated seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, Bose stereo and LED headlights (for better nighttime visibility). i have the 2021 kicks and get great gas mileage around 32 mpg with city and highway. The seats are just fine but i have the sv model and it didnt come with lumbar support. Little tough on long rides. pickup isnt bad, not a sports car but it works. the heat takes a little time before it starts warming up the car but that is about it with the bad. For a small car it is extremely quiet and comfortable. It blows away my wifes 2020 equinox. Its easy to park, smooth riding and very comfortable.

I have the 2020 Nissan kicks s and the AC in my vehicle is phenomenal. My AC control panel looks different than this one but I haven’t had any issues with the AC and I live in the hot state of Florida

I have had many Nissans plus still have three other Nissans and I haven’t noticed a springy seats. I really like mine, new 2020. I got it because it is great to make quick run around so I don’t have to drive my big Armada or Quest that I now save for when my family joins me.
I like the carbon fiber by the infotainment screen

I recently bought a 2020 SV kicks with 6,400 miles and notice the same thing with the a/c is really weird to me that it needs to be in 60 to actually work.
Great review! - Is this the US Version of the Nissan Juke? Size seems to be almost the same. Just the Design of this Version looks more dated compared to the EU Juke. Or is it a different car at all?
Thanks! This replaced the Juke (last generation) here in the States in 2018.
@@MattMaranMotoringTHX - I don`t get why the EU Version looks so much more modern inside and out. Why they don't use the same design? I have no explanation for that.
I bet they got the stitching right on the armrest though...did you notice any bolts sticking out damaging the paint on the door🤔

Interior is passable, but the vehicle is in need of AWD, and a better engine that is not so underpowered.

Was it raining when the heat wouldn’t shut off. Some cars use the ac to help to defrost and defogger. Maybe this car uses the heat.

If i had some bucks, I'd save the 370/GTR plant and let the rest fend for themselves. Seems like like Kicks is giving the potentials a boot towards a Venue.
Those are all typical Nissan port options. They love the expensive kick plates, floor mats, mud guards, etc... I think most people pay nothing if they negotiate but if they get a couple who do, they make money as it costs them very little.

Honestly, I do not like (was going to use hate, but hate is a strong word) the Kicks at ALL. Only appeals to bargain buyers. Nissan really needs to appeal to REAL customers who actually aspire to own a nice car. Bring the Juke from Europe, and replace the Kicks and Rogue Sport with it. SIMPLIFIED lineup. The new juke actually has some desirability whereas the Kicks and Rogue Sport are for rental companies. I know the Juke looks similar to the new Rogue, but hey, the Sentra looks similar to the Altima. #BringbacktheJuke!
(Nissan USA) Wow Joe what a great idea! We should look at our future plans and revise our strategy in the American market. You are right, fun sporty crossovers like the Juke are red hot in America, and Kicks was launched several years before coming to the US, and is not working for US buyers, and is only designed for rental car companies. The Juke would really bring a new level of fun to our outdated and bland lineup. If Nissan USA is great, Nissan is great! #BringbacktheJuke!

Man, Nissan just seems to be sooo far behind these days. Everything looks so old and cheap. There are so much better options around the same price range that offer way nicer looks and materials. Nice review as always though, Matt and Beth!
Nissan's infotainment system has been this way, and laggy for years now. Probably among the worst for me.
Best part of nissan are the cvt transmissions!😅🤣
