unbelievingly relatable. from the house to the substance abuse to the rage to the isolation... i'm only now realizing how fucked over I was of a happy childhood, of stability, of educational opportunities. being forced to grow up only to try and survive long enough to hopefully be happy. i can't wait to get out. this song and video is amazing, thank you for creating such wonderful art

In this video and song I can see my own life. My favorite track off the album. It's a shame they're disbanding after only their sophomore effort. I loved Lily of the Valley so much, and I'm really digging Islands Apart, so it's sad that we'll be getting no more from them. T-T Suppose I'll just have to cherish the record even more to fill the void of opportunity.
