I served a tour of duty in the Army Rangers as an NCO in two differe nt platoons in III Corp RVN 68-69. I've purchased three very different Kabars and gifted all three to good friends. Only one of them was a veteran. He was an M-60 gunner in 2/4, the Magnificent Bastards in I Corps RVN, at the Battle of Daido in 68. We met in VAMC American Lake, WA in 1992. He had the worst case of PTSD I've ever seen. I gave him a Next Generation Kabar with the fullers engraved to commemorate his incredible sacrifice to the Nation. He cherished that knife. About a month after his death, I found out he'd been found in a bent wood rocker in New Orleans with a can of beer in his hand. RIP, Bill Huey, my brother in arms. ... God speed Timbo ... Can't truly say this video was very uplifting to me. Too many haunting memories of jungle warfare of my own. MM
