A couple of comments on my experience with the ps5 pro. 1. After you play a game that's ps5 pro enhanced, going back to one that's not seems last gen. You get used to sharp graphics AND high frame rate. 2. I currently have 10 games downloaded and still have half my storage left. Before I would have to delete one when I bought a new game 3. The worst part is waiting for games that are enhanced to come out or get updated. 4. I did upgrade my tv to a Samsung s95d. Having a tv that can handle the graphics upgrade is essential. 5. My favorite upgraded game so far is Stellar Blade, Baldours Gate, and Horizon Forbidden west. Im pretty jaded but even i would stop just to look around admiring the beauty. Overall I'm glad I went to ps5 pro. The next gen upgrade should be amazing now that I see what this system had to offer
The Pro is a Go Imo and you dont need a crazy monitor or tv just need 4k 120hz but id say get a newer tv if youre a lil behind i got the TCL QM851G for $1000 and with my picture settings it looks better than some oled tvs, if you want the PRO id say get it, its 100% worth the upgrade
@ yessir and if you want the best id say do it but its also not necessary if you own a 7 id suggest either the 7 or 8 for the pro so you’re good honestly
99.9% of games see no difference. Pro games still sffer 40-50's fps sometimes due to archaic cpu. Despite its gpu, you're not even getting to utilize it, due to the clown cpu they kept in it. Literally, pc with lesser specs GPU wise gets 100+fps where the "pro" getting 40-50. I sold it within a few days.
Exactly an what they also don't mention like you said the games are optimized for a stronger GPU so even in if the GPU is 200 percent more powerful if the game can't use it the games run as if they were on a regular ps5. Not a good upgrade at all. An the cpu is also 5 years old. An agree I've said this with a PC or gaming laptop you can buy one at the same price or cheaper than the pro( if you don't have 120hz TV that an extra 1500 to shell out) then you can really buy far better rig an really get the best of you games. The pro struggles with war hammer barely 60 fps more like 40s an 50s. I'm playing at 160 180 fps on a 4080 mobile that did not cost an arm an leg because it was open box deal so it's brand spanking new. The pro is barely a minor refresh

Right an it's only 400 something bucks but it gets 3 times fps depending on the game an if this is 40 percent more powerful then 7800 and card which is far more powerful than the pro it's def worth the money. Not to mention if you don't have the proper TV with 120hz the pro is far more expensive
As a gamer with a high end PC and a PS5 pro I'd say consoles are just more convenient, and these days that matters more to people. And the fact that a lot of these PC games are terrible optimized at launch, it's almost not worth the trouble and all the tinkering you have to do occasionally.
