- Today, Allen and Luke Travel from Florence KY to Frankfort Kentucky to continue their 3 day bourbon hunting trip. They make stops along the way at various liquor stores as well as Buffalo Trace, Whiskey Thief, and Jebtha Creed.

This is funny because I just did this trip with my brother 3 days ago! We went to Jeptha Creed, Whiskey Thief, Preservation, and Bardstown Bourbon... honestly, you missed out on the Whiskey Thief, it was the most fun I ever had. Pretty much as many pours as you want from any of the 10 barrels they have. Everyone there was awesome and laid back. I suggest next time you are anywhere near to do that one again.
Oh that sounds awesome! We will definitely be going back, We wanted to go, but we also wanted to try and hit as many places in Bardstown that same day so we only had until around 1pm before having to go there. Thanks for the Info!

The museum at the start, it’s always heartbreaking to see those bottles behind glass. Toy Story 2 all over again! Blantons is so easy to pick up here, we have an issue with Wellers instead! Great pick up on the Redwood Empire, had kept my eyes open when I was over but never clocked anything outside the regular bottles.

When were you guys there? I was there the weekend of April 19/20. Got an Eagle Rare/Blantons double dip. I also picked up Elijah Craig Toasted and Bardstown BiB that weekend. Oh, and a 6 pack of Freddie’s! Later I found out if you buy a case of Freddie’s, they donate a dollar to an animal rescue, so just start buying it by the case. I will.

You messed up not doing the tasting at Whiskey Thief. One of my favorite places we stop at on the tour every year.

You should have bought a bottle from whiskey thieves in my opinion they are a small craft distillery and that’s what we should support as whiskey fans. Just saying. And you pick what barrel you want your bottle from and fill it yourself. Missed opportunity.
We will definitely be back, we were just in a time crunch for the day or we would have! Next time we will definitely check it out
You all wasted your time going to Jeptha Creed they’re considered bottom of the barrel when it comes to bourbon in Kentucky. You should’ve went to Glenn’s Creek in Frankfort, KY for a true craft distillery that’s making some outstanding bourbon from a pot still
We still wanted to check it out, just slowly checking off all the distilleries on the bourbon trail
