Not getting up early this year so I slept in and got to a drop location around 9:00 and got a Nulu Toasted and a Dicklel15yr. Call me crazy but I have always enjoyed Dickel so it turned out to be a good day.

I was able to get a full proof, the EC Private Barrel, a starlight Honey and picked up an OWA at my GE. I was out at 5:00 in line and was 12th. It was a good morning for me at least.

I went for trying some of the single barrel ohlq picks but decided to get my first Weller full proof and the WT 70th instead. I tried blending 50/50 Weller full proof and the WT 70th and it makes a very tasty 4 grain!

I wasnt to impressed with the line up this year. I still went out tho haha! Showed up to my local spot at 7. Was 10th in line got 2 Weller Full proofs, Wild Turkey 70th, starlight double oaked (fantastic!), and a Nulu Maple. I'm anticipating a surprise holiday drop like last year with Weller CYPB, SiB, and 12 in it.

I sat outside a store for 5 hours 3rd in line before the list came out and seen that store wasn’t selected. Most people in line gave up and went home, but a few of us booked it to the closest store on the list and still managed to get a Weller full proof. So happy i didn’t give up!

A Weller Full Proof and Turkey 70th is a good day.

I was able to get Weller CYPB, EH Taylor Straight Rye, Rock Hill Farms, Elmer T Lee, Michter’s 10 year bourbon, Michter’s Toasted Bourbon, Russel’s 15, and Peerless Rum Finish all for msrp. It was a pretty great haul for a single weekend.

Next time Krogers!! They always drop

I live in Niles, Ohio...got there at 815....got a weller full proof.... got back in line and got another full proof..got back in line and got a wild turkey 70th....that would never happen a year or 2 ago...

Me and my dad went and did the same as you, I stayed in our hometown while he drove to Newark and we both got a Weller and managed to snag a Turkey. Did you enter the December lottery as well?

Yeah we were out at 4:30 and no one else showed up till about 6. Ended up with Weller FP, Turkey 70th, and John J Bowman barrel pick.

Allocated burbon is everywhere, if you are willing to overpay. Groceries and big chains are your best bet to buy them st list prices.

Definitely would’ve picked up the Russell private barrel CN-B, wow! I have a 9 yr CN-E but CN-B is where the single rickhouse bottles come from if I remember correctly.

Get the Double Oaked Peerless it's real nice and it's $129 at the distillery, for 89$ that's the best price I have seen.
