I’m so sorry to hear that it happened to you . I was very careful when fighting because of how the sensor was small . And I appreciate your support .

I had this same issue and replaced the sensor with the same Bosch part. It worked well for about a month and then the code came back. I hope you have better luck.

So yours has been fine? No whistling noise or not able to go over 1500 psi on your hpfp (issues i had with mine) I tried 4 different sensors including 5053 and none worked, different issues with each. The only one that would work is the oem 5006 sensor, had to buy a used oem fuel rail to get the sensor. These cars are weird sometimes.

I’ve had the sensor installed for more than 5 months , and the car is still running with literally no issues whatsoever. No leaks at all , no hesitation at all , and no check engine lights or codes. I’m not sure why I’m receiving a lot of complaints regarding this sensor, but it’s been working fine with me . If it doesn’t work for you , then yes try to find an OEM one that’s been used. Dealerships will try to sell you the entire fuel rail with the sensor , they don’t sell the sensor by itself unfortunately. I’m sorry you had to go through this brother .

No worries at all. eBay sells them as well. Make sure to enter the exact part number that’s on the sensor. There’s loads of them.

Bosch part failed on mine and went back to oem. I would recommend just unplugging the negative terminal on the battety while you replace the sensor. Theres no need to pull and fuses.

Thanks for letting me know and I’m sorry that your part has failed. I’ve had mine installed since January, so it’s been more than 4 months and the car is still running strong and I’ve had zero issues whatsoever. The reason why I pulled the fuse is to make sure that there is no fuel in the fuel rail and no fuel leaks when removing the sensor. That’s all.

Me second gen when exit a corner or getting on the highway right after a hard turn if try to accelerate hard it just bogs out, then just acts normal, sometimes it does it on the straights too, I change that sensor, change the high pressure fuel pump, clean injectors..... sometimes i think n theres something on the fuel tank...

I’ve had this sensor for more than 2 months , and the car is still running with no check engine lights whatsoever. There is no leaks at all , I check it every week on a Saturday morning, and the car starts with no hesitation.
