I love how they did not include inspecting toby's desk and belongings as he is working for the corporate so technically he is not part of their family. Also he is divorced so he is not part of his own family.

You gotta admit it that the set production and design was so good because they accurately captured the stifling, cluttered environment of a real office, down that horrific fluorescent lighting. It's all in the details and there's an incredible amount of little touches that make it feel so real. The office setting really was its own character.

The actors also spent a few weeks in there to familiarise themselves with the layout, so it actually looks like they've been there for years

It’s amazing how Rainn is SO natural at improv. You can tell he loves it and can just bring the hilarious-ness at the drop of a dime. Also- such a Michael move to keep eating the stale jelly beans *knowing* they are stale. Both actors are incredibly talented and funny.

I'm always impressed by the levels of effort the set dressers went to when they build that office. All the phones work, and are networked, all the computers function and connect to the internet, all the equipment is real and works.
It's a real office building so they just bought office stuff.
Just wondering are you impressed by the people who set up all the real offices in the world because they also have those things? Lol I'm just kidding it is actually very cool that they did all that for the show

Crazy to see what's actually behind the door next to accounting. It's so weird that that door is only ever opened once in the entire series. And even though it is a closet, they tried bashing it open with the copier in S05E15 Stress Relief during Dwight's fire drill.
Actually, in one if the later seasons when pam gets her mural ruined by the warehouse guy who spray paints a butt over it and the sound guy saves her from thw warehouse guy atfacking her after her and dwight painted his truck...
They show that the closet is storage for the camera crews stuff and pam talks to the sound guy in the closet.
So they do eventually show it.
