@Jardel Edeza Eren feels everything. I know many people will not agree with me but i support Eren what he is doing, if he hadn't done that marley would've attacked their island already. Thats why i don't like Hange and her group this season, they are looking for peaceful negotiations which was never there. But Eren knew that and took all the burden and hate for their safety. Eren also suffers when sees civilians and children getting killed but he has no other option and that's why I am gonna support him till the end.

18:32-18:38 i’m SO glad someone asked “who was that?” because imo that’s exactly the purpose of not showing gabi’s full face here. to me she looks exactly like young eren on the boat leaving shinganshina, when he first swore to destroy the titans. it’s as if that shot could be anyone on either side, because this show, just like war, has no winners.
GREAT CATCH BY ALEX. Marley are going thru EXACTLY what Paradis felt when the warriors attacked them in the first episode. A great parallel and a theme to the story that no side is good or bad

Eren is morally wrong not because he sought vengeance, but because he purposely chose not to end the cycle of hatred that he was subjected to and not only committed the same atrocious, horrific acts of war that he had witnessed as a child to the "people" who hurt him, but to innocents across the entire world that had no involvement in his own suffering. He slept in the same conditions as Marleyan soldiers/citizens, ate their food, and saw that in every way they were similar to him and still chose to kill innocent men, women and children. Then he chose to do the same to every nation across the world, without a second thought in his mind. It is clear where his morality lies at. Eren is a phenomenal character and one of the most superbly written protagonists in manga. But that doesn't change the fact he is a terrible human being lol
as much as I love the old crew back together, I don't know who to really root for, it just feels like this is gonna be a never-ending bloodshed between both sides. As Reiner and Bertholdt triggered Eren's anger, Eren triggered Gabi.

Think the white eye was just a lighting effect while the green one was just illuminated in the darkness, MAPPA kinda gives his eyes a foggy glass design compared to WIT

Eren's titan has a thin layer over his eyes, you can see it in some WIT chapters, and also, it was Isayama intent to portrait it like that.

Why would you want someone else from the group casually get the power of one of the 9 titans? Did you forget about Ymir's curse? That they only have 13 years. In a way Mikasa is already powerful like a titan because she is half Ackerman. We still don't know for sure if Ackermans can even become titans.

Never saw anything wrong with the CGI only the episode where Zeke was throwing bombs at ships
@@vinren3893 yeah, considering MAPPA is one of the best anime studios rn. They did dorohedoro in complete cgi which was also good, the only reason they used cgi for the titans is because they didn't have much time plus it's more easier for the animators who are basically sacrificing their lives to give us some quality anime in these times

I'm so glad for once, people actually appreciate the animation for this episode. There was so much bullshit and controversy surrounding this episode when it came out, but the CG and 2D blend is just out of this world, and some of the better uses of it I've seen

In the last episode the reason the soldiers said Pieck created a rift between the men in her unit is because out of all of them she only chose one to hug, making all of the others jealous. Also, as much as Gabi's character and attitude pisses me off, I have to remind myself she's a severely brainwashed child. Basically part of Hitlers Youth Army lmao.
You're in the middle of another legendary stretch of episodes, like Perfect Game, Hero and Midnight Sun from S3.

With Mikasa being an Ackerman, immune to the King of the Walls' brainwashing, it's unclear whether she could turn into a Titan.

In the last episode, during the scene where the mysterious bearded character was escorting the Marleyan Titans, they sent Zeke away to one of the gates (all part of the plan to separate them all)
I wouldn't say Falco might snap but shocked about the revelation from the conversation between Eren and Reiner. Two opposing forces having different perspectives and how far one Is willing to sacrifice for a cause they believe in. Anyway great reaction guys. The next upcoming episodes are going to get spicy.
These sets of episodes really just show how neither side is right they’re both just perpetuating the cycle of violence

Love how shook Porco was, killing titans is their specialty. Big RIP to Zofia and Udo, kinda liked them. Lmao at Dani enjoying the last few scenes so much she couldn't get a word out 🤣

Some little details on the TV vs the Blu ray version for this episode that i found interesting: The color of the thunder spears fire is changed from orange to blue. Also one of the big complains when this episode aired was that Mikasa even compared to the rest of the episode looked completely different in that one close up shot of her tearing up so they fixed that in the blu ray and it looks much more consistent.
What's happening is definitely messed up but at the same time it's hard not get so excited seeing the group again and coming in with badass entrances like that.

Eh, the notion of killing Gabi (especially after she witnessed the two gate guards who were friendly to Eldians and to her) always irks me. I mean she is a crazy, dangerous, brainwashed child soldier, but she didn't choose to be born in a self-hating ghetto or to have the racist program drill into her. Defending yourself from a child soldier is a different story sure, but to condemn them to death for being what they're forced to be just showed how messed up the world is.
You will be that one guy in war who gives a child a candy bar after killing his friends and parents then end up getting stabbed in your sleep by that same kid.

This is one of the best AOT episodes ever. It's only competitors are s2e7, s3e17&18 and then s4e7. It's a real toss-up for my favorite episode.
S3 E20 for me is the best
Actually story wise it is the best one
But overall this is one of the best.
Cuz you know we have better fight animation than this in earlier seasons but this could have been the best episode if animation was as smooth and intense as story

first of all we should not forget the main reason marley began the attack , to get oil resources, they wanted to wipe out entire pardis just for that so erens rage is reasonable, it may not be right but if they didn't attack this time, they would have easily been crushed by 6 titans vs 2 plus anti titan warfare and defeated, everything can be concluded that this was the only choice eren had. Which is explained beautifully later in manga.
Jean is now the leader, that's cool. And in general, it's very nice to see our guys again.

after watching the first few eps of the season when it came out and then re-watching the trailer you can put pieces together pretty easily on whats gonna happen the rest of the half season
Eren never likes his friends(especially Mikasa) gain titan power because it'd reduce their life for only 13 years after gaining titan power. In Armin case, there was no choice because he already was on the edge of death.

Gabi lost two friends, not her family,read the manga her family is still alive in the end and I don't give a damn what spoiler this is, she lost a couple friends and said they were my biological family, but her real family was praying for her survival while telling her lies.
So you expect people to sympathize with a character(Gabi) they saw for 3 episodes at the same level as a character(Eren) they saw for three seasons and experienced countless tragedies with, I know in the grand scheme of things nobody is right or wrong, but I am definitely more empathetic towards the tiny island and its inhabitants who are prosecuted by not one or two nations, but the entire world.

They forget mikasa is half asian half ackermann. So she couldnt become a titan bc she doesnt have eldian blood (unless her dad is part eldian which i doubt) but her being a titan would be so cool. Atleast levi could in theory become one if his biological father is eldian

Yup, exactly. Tybur declared war on Paradis prior to any attack on Marley. If you think about it, the only casualties they had on the Marley side the past 10 or so years was Bertholdt and Marcel (up until now of course). Meanwhile a quarter of a million Eldians on Paradis died for a war they didn't even know existed. Yet the Marley government still wants to declare war while the citizens cheered them on while they did it. All for the sake of getting the Founding Titan.
While the innocent casualties are unfortunate, it would have been avoided if Marley didn't strike Paradis first.
We can play the blame game all day long but this conflict has been going on for so long it's basically pointless to do so. Both sides are officially in the wrong now, Floch literally went out of his way to kill civilians instilling that deep rooted hatred even deeper for anyone who survives. Eren and Reiner are both mass murderers unable to be forgiven of their sins
@@pieck5460 People love to say that both sides are valid but the fatal flaw for me is Marley side loses ALL moral or valid ground when they are aware that the people they are murdering have 0 memory of why they are being murdered. Also if Titan power is so devlish that an entire race "deserves" to be oppresed for it then you shouldn't be using it to fight other countries. Marley doesn't even believe their own lies.
