- After visiting London and the lakes district, we started on a 5 day road trip of Scotland. We tried to fit in just as much as possible including Stirling, highland games, Loch Ness, and the Isle of Skye. Our favorite part of the road trip was definitely the Isle of Skye. The landscape was stunning and there were several great hikes we could go on. Of course, there were several things we wished we could have visited (Edinburgh) that we just didn't have time for. Scotland did not disappoint though and we are certainly glad we had the time we did. If you enjoyed this video make sure to subscribe and follow along as we continue on our year of travel!
We can not talk enough about how much we love our Priority Pass. It has gotten us into dozens of airport lounges and has saved us hundreds of dollars. Plus its so much more relaxing to be in a lounge. You can get the Priority Pass for free when you sign up for the Capital One Venture X Card.
If you sign up using our link we will both get bonus points 😊

Isle of Skye is a must see. I spent most of my time meeting and greeting the Locals which was really fun. They told me all kinds of stories about the people and the legends of the past. Definitely a highlight to remember.
Try st.kilda or rock see why I giggle at the latter😂😂😮🎉🎉🎉
We went to Scotland for the first time a few months ago and it became one of our new favorite places. The Isle of Skye was our favorite area we visited. Seeing the Highland Games would be SO fun!

Hi guys, what month was this trip? I’m going on the 8th June and I’m very worried about the roads and crowds now. Ive been before in April and September and it was fine.
We were there in August. Most of the tourism we ran into was at the Isle of Skye. We were able to do and see everything we wanted too, but it would take some extra time to find a parking spot at some of the trailheads. But it was never overwhelming tourism, like we have experienced in other countries.
@@jordanandsoph thanks for the reply. Keep up the good work
Thank you! @@dolphinvlogs2831
nice stuff. God bless you
Thanks! Scotland was great!
Did you reserve your B&B in advance of your trip or are their plenty of B&B's/hotels to choose from around the middle of May? We explored Ireland for nearly a week without having to reserve lodging other than a castle we pre-booked.
We reserved most of them about a month or two in advance. There was one stay we booked night of and we didn't have any issue finding a good option. We were there in early August, so towards the end of busy season.
It's a loch not a lake thank you x
