Omg thank you thank ypu so muchhh ahhhh 😭😭😭😭😭 our exam is tomorrow and i havent even studied yet this video helped me emotionally, spiritually, and mentally thanks, I appreaciate it ❤️❤️❤️
You're an amazing teacher, you demystify these topics in such a graceful manner plus you have such a soothing voice...you were made for this, you are a gift ,God bless you.
Professor Organic Chemistry Tutor, thank you for an outstanding video/lecture on Ionic Bonds, Polar Covalent Bonds and nonpolar Covalent Bonds in Organic Chemistry. The beginning sections of Organic Chemistry is very similar to topics in General Chemistry. This is an error free video/lecture on TH-cam TV with the Organic Chemistry Tutor.
Just want to let you know that you are such a good soul for putting these vids online for us students to have access , I hope youtube compensates you! Also I passed the chemistry exam that beat my ass two times, thanks!
...and this is what happens when you take AP Chem sophomore year of high school and College Organic Chem junior year of high school. But I got a 96 on our "General Chemistry Review Quiz." It was basically just balancing equations and some stoichiometry. Now, I'm preparing for my first Orgo test. I hope it goes well and you're very helpful!!
It is the element’s electronegativity. On some periodic tables it will be listed underneath, but not all have it. Ask ur teacher if they want u to memorize them or what, my teacher gave us a Table with them on it
at 7:30 minutes, is is not C6H14 hexane? C6H12 could be 2-hexene (depends on where you have the double bond). Just want to double-check. I like your videos, they help me a lot. Thank you so muchhhhhh.
Very important: The bonds in H2O (aka. H-O-H) are NOT hydrogen bonds. They are just polar covalent bonds. What IS a hydrogen bond is the bond between a hydrogen atom on one molecule of H2O with an oxygen atom on another molecule of H2O. For larger molecules, it can also be a bond between a H and a O or N or F on different parts of the molecule. But takeaway is: Covalent bonds and hydrogen bonds are two different things, look up hydrogen bonds for more details :-)
I kinda having a hard time to understand this topic when our Prof just gave it to us as a lessons but not even discussed. Then suddenly, i saw this video that easy to understand. I'm glad i did understand now!😁
Idk why i am watching these. I did A level chemistry and we covered most of this. I dont even do chemistry anymore, but i guess it is still interesting
If you put H2O and NaCl next to eachother the sodium in salt would be attracted to the oxygen atom in water (because negative attracts positive) and the chlorine in water would be attracted to one or both of the hydrogens in water
Can u solve this problem pls..... Ionic bond is formed between a metal and nonmetal whose electronegativity difference is 1.9 and above , while covalent bond exist between two or more nonmetals whose electronegativity difference is less than 1.9.Based on these descriptions, classify the bond formed in each of the following compounds as ionic bond or covalent bond .... I hope u can help Me🙏 🥺

@@danielfunes2419 how you in O chem and not taking it seriously 😭
Thanks dude, going through your Orgo. Chem playlist right now to prep for finals. You’re saving my ass with these vids.
This organic chem playlist is my only hope this semester😂😂
I'm really new to this. Your explanations make it so much easier to understand. Thank you!
This has been the most helpful/simplified explanation I have discovered anywhere. You have a natural gift!

Really appreciate the videos you’ve helped me out countless times
Life-saver!! I literally cannot understand a thing here in my science module :')
Saame
You basically saved my life
very informative, clear and short video which gave 100% clarity in no time
Amazing teaching as always! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
first day of classes and this is better than my prof

the first week of Uni, and im back to your channel. you need to be appreciated more
thanks dude your videos really help, now i understand these topics , its soo much easier
you just saved me
best chemistry teacher 👍👍
Thanks dude, that video really helped me for my test last week 💖.
Very good explanation sir.
Wow, time flies. I thought I have been only halfway into te video but I have already finished it lol
amazing!!! taking ochem lab right now and took originally ochem like 5 years ago so remember not much - final tomorrow!!
NPC - nonpolar covalent
Which app are you using to write and make these videos. They are amazing.

This was so helpful!
Really useful for me
Who is the tUtoR?
Sir where the number coming from i talk about the 2.5 for carbon and 3.5 for oxygen, it comes from periodic table or where

Thanks for the video...very helpfull
thank you king
In Greek schools instead of learning the electronegativity value of each atom, we learn this; F>O>N,Cl>Br>S,I,C>P>H
I kinda having a hard time to understand this topic when our Prof just gave it to us as a lessons but not even discussed. Then suddenly, i saw this video that easy to understand.

Thanks alot brother 👍👍😊
At 7:30 ... hexane, shouldn't that be C6H14 instead of 12 hydrogen atoms? Or we talking hexene?
Daddy chill
U are the best
how do we compare two molecule's polarity or nonpolarity? For example, If they are both polar, which one is more polar?
Depends on what the molecule is made of
If you put H2O and NaCl next to eachother the sodium in salt would be attracted to the oxygen atom in water (because negative attracts positive) and the chlorine in water would be attracted to one or both of the hydrogens in water
This dude need a nobel fucking. Prize
Where did you get electronegativity
Which bond has the most polarity?
Thanks
When u need to watch this vid in quarantine 😑

Ionic bond
At 7:23 u said that every compound containg only carbon and hydrogen is non polar .it is wrong ... take the example of cis-2-butene
Of course there's always an exception. It's probably explained in advanced topics. He's speaking in general.
@@beyzee8516 thanks
This is bcz dipole movement not bond polarity
thanks soo much dud, saved my azz
Jeez u barley saved my life for my tomorrow Exam....
