The cost is about the same as the fine avoided. The advantage to the driver is not getting penalty points on your licence.
Nice for you who get to retire. I'm 48 now and the retirement age is NOW 68, by the time I'm 68(lets face it, I work 2 jobs over 250 hours per month physical jobs. I'm not making it till 68) it'll be 78!
I could have retired at 65, but couldn't afford it. Got to my 69th year and thought "if I don't do it now, I will die working". Found myself a good Financial Advisor, put all my pensions (several over the years) into one pot, worked out what I needed to live on, and retired. Not rich, can't afford holidays, but then I haven't had a proper holiday since the early 2000's so nothing to miss. So no money for extras but I have so much time. Still haven't got much done of course, jobs I don't get around to doing, but I "could" if I really wanted to because I have time, time for me.

Spam bots are rife, some have a different tactic nowadays. Look at the time they joined the platform. Only you can really block them. Usually they have a scantily clad lass in/for the avatar, not always the case though. And will usually say how great you are, without context.

It's nice to have jobs in the US with retirement benefits and Healthcare, since millions of US citizens struggle to live well AFTER retirement. I live in Scotland and have ALL the above at NO cost to me.

I've retired now ( 62 ) been working since 1979 , it's nice to stop . I got my freedom pass for London , no reason to stay inside ...love it

I left school in 1983 retired at 50 in 2017, love it. Never going back.😂

Me and my wife recently reached 70. We don't have time to fit things in because, between us, we always have a doctor's or hospital appointment 😀
