I just finished that Nick Broomfield Kurt & Courtney documentary. Nick Broomfield is a savage filmmaker. Towards the end at some award show Courtney was I believe hosting, he called her out on stage for having threatened certain people of the media, and then was cut off, and rushed off stage.

As a public figure who has been accused of being involved in her husbands death for over 22 years Courtney could have put this to bed a long time ago by taking the legal route. She certainly has the money to do so (Kurt's money). If she was innocent of being involved then her actions prior to, and subsequent to, Kurt's death contradict that notion. The evidence in the case supports homicide not suicide. Surely Courtney, if innocent, would want to know who could have been involved in his death and would again, take the legal route to determine this. This however, has not been the case. Quite the opposite in fact. Her actions support the behaviour of a guilty person and an independent death investigation should be carried out to determine what really happened. Unfortunately the case itself was ruled a suicide by the SPD within 2 hours of the body being found before they had conducted the autopsy and viewed the toxicology results (contrast that with the current investigation into Prince's death). A shocking example of a police investigation that no-one deserves regardless of who they are.

It's really not hard to put together...Allen Wrench was later interviewed and said he may have incompacitated kurt by a choke hold(Allen Wrench is a Judo black belt master)and injected him with a lot of heroin(25 times the lethal dose) he said as long as he blew enough of the neck away you couldn't see the marks he left on the neck...

El Duce died 7 days after dropping the name "Allen" in the BBC documentary "Kurt & Courtney" The last person to see him alive was his best friend and Judo master "Allen Wrench"...I have a link to the news article showing that...if you want it. It doesn't take an expert detective to see what happened here...I also recommend reading the book "Love And Death: The Murder Of Kurt Cobain" in which they interview Allen Wrench who was even driving the White Lexus that Courtney had bought Kurt...He admits it and brags that he will never be charged with Kurt's murder, or the murder of El Duce. In the book during the investigation that Tom Grant was doing on Courtney(she originally hired Grant to look for Kurt the few days he was missing, he then saw a lot of weird things so he then turned to investigating Courtney) they found a paper in Courtney's backpack of her practicing handwriting, of each letter, much like you would find in a child's backpack who was learning to write the alphabet. You just can't accept inconsistencies, and have already formed an opinion, which means your investigation skills would be worthless. Gelb is a leading polygrapher who tested El Duce, and it is untrue that all polygraphs aren't admissible in court, as Gelb worked on the OJ case.

I wouldn’t say Rock died because of Kurt’s death. Nirvanas popularity had dropped some from Nevermind to In Utero. Pearl Jam was the hottest act of 1994 in terms of popularity. I love Nirvana but I’m not going to deny the fact that he wouldn’t be looked at as the icon he is now if he had lived. Rock died out because people within the industry refused to let it grow and held it in the metal thing and fans got bored with that. Before that every 7-10 years rock evolved spawning new sub genres. Once that stopped rock went flat. Revisionist history is going to tell you Nirvana hit the scene and was the biggest thing since the Beatles but if you lived back then you’d know that’s not how it was. The concerts indicate that. They weren’t even capable of selling out stadiums on their own like GNR or Metallica. Still maybe Kurt would have reinvented his style in 2000 and sparked something fresh. We’ll never know

Courtney is so guilty. She also killed her bassist Kristen Pfaff months after Cobain was found dead. Look it up. Same age as Kurt and same mysterious circumstances. She was clean, sober, and leaving town when out of nowhere she's found dead of an overdose. Her mother smells foul play.
I think Kristen knew something! Kurt told one of his friends that Kristen was not only beautiful, but had a beautiful soul and that Courtney would hit the roof if she could hear him. Courtney also accused Kristen of making eyes at Kurt during band practice. Kurt was planning on leaving town too and starting a new life. Maybe there was something starting to happen between the two of them and Kristen knew it wasn't suicide and maybe Courtney had something to do with it. Many times it takes meeting another woman to give a man the courage to finally walk away from a bad marriage or relationship. Kurt could have had any woman he wanted. He just didn't know it when he met Courtney. He only had one other girlfriend before her.
For any of you who don't believe that Kurt was murdered, look into the relationship between Kurt and Kristen Pfaff, Courtney's bassist whom she thought was having an affair with Kurt. about 2 months after Kurt's death she was found dead of an apparent heroin overdose but just like Kurt's death there are a lot of unanswered questions, there were also pages torn out/missing from her diary from the day Kurt went missing to the day he was found. Both her and Kurt had just completed Rehab voluntarily so I don't believe that either one was using. None of it makes any sense and so much was done unprofessionally or not at all.
10.) The Seattle medical examiner, Dr Nikola Hartshorne (Dr NH) is a friend of CL from before he was a doctor. He had promoted Courtney's first husband, James Moreland's, band in the '80's. So no surprise when he rules for CL's version of events, as a suicide. 11.) Dr NH is also the ME for the death of CL's bassist, Kristen Pfaff (KP) who was killed just weeks after the murder of KC, and after being given heroin by another Hole band member, Erick Erlandson (EE). CL was very jealous over KC and KP's new relationship. 12.) EE is at KC's house the day he died after CL asked him to go to the house to look for her husband. 13.) Three months after KC was murdered, and just weeks after KP was killed, Dr NH, who by all accounts was rising up the ladder at work, leaves to live in Florida. His Seattle coworkers are all surprised. 14.) Three months after KC was murdered, DT, of the SPD, is murdered by two guys who set him up to be killed by pretending to have a flat tire. 15.) Lead on the KC case, Detective Cameron (DC), and the boss of DT, is fired three years after the murder of KC for bribery and corruption. He had been with SPD for 39 years. 16.) No fingerprints on the shotgun or shells. So, I think CL had EE give KC a mickey in his root beer (the Valium found in KC's blood) and then have him give a massive dose of heroin when KC was already passed out. EE then leaves and Allen Wrench comes in alone, instructed by CL, to get the shotgun she knew KC had purchased with his buddy Dylan Carlson, and to use it on KC. Dylan admits he told CL about the shotgun prior. Then CL has EE give her rival, KP, an OD of heroin. EE is the only person to be seen entering her residence that night. He left 30 minutes later. So then CL hires some thugs to pretend a flat tire on the route of off duty DT and have him killed. Dead men tell no tales. In 2002 Dr NH dies. In 2022 CL settles out of court with her son in-law, Isaiah Silva, for his kidnapping and attempted murder.

+peepingtom20101 bear in mind that most criminal convictions rely on circumstantial evidence rather than direct evidence such as eye witness testimony. Finger prints, DNA analysis and forensic evidence is considered circumstantial evidence and if all three support one another and point to the same thing it would hold its weight in court in securing a conviction much more so than just relying on eye witness testimony which can change or become distorted over time due to memory. Perhaps you misunderstand and underestimate the importance of circumstantial evidence.
Gordon Bennett All good points, but I still think it would be a tough case to win not only because all the physical evidence- the gun, the body, the whole greenhouse itself- is gone, along with DNA, but also because the Seattle PD has too much to lose by the truth coming out. They would do everything in their power to cover up evidence and sabotage the investigation and trial. Also think of all the behind the scenes powerful moneyed interests that have too much to lose. They would for sure bribe, threaten and even kill to maintain the cover up. I’m not sure anything short of a witness stand breakdown and confession by Courtney or a co-conspirator could do it.

Alot of stuff about Kurt Cobains personality and personal life does say suicide. But when you review the facts about his death it says the exact opposite.
Either Kurt's mom or aunt said Kurt had 3 uncles commit suicide. He also found a guy hanging in the woods when he was a teen. It isn't hard to see Kurt didn't want to live.
She seemed to brush off the fact that she was basically accused of murdering her husband in this documentary quite easily here. There were lots of digressions and diversions. I suppose a significant amount of time had passed since his death and it was no longer important for her to appear to be appalled by the whole thing. I hope the truth comes out one day soon, he seemed to have a good spirit but as usual, the drugs and fame f*cked in the arse in the end.

Kurt may have bought the shotgun for protection and started using heroin because his stomach hurt. That has nothing to do with what he did with both after that initial purpose. And how does her own father know anything about anything, he wasn't even in their lives. That El Duce guy was hardly a thread btw, even if she did try to hire him at one stage. Where's the prove? He doesn't exactly look like the most reliable witness ever. Hardly worth the risk killing him. In fact a lot of the people I see presenting all this 'prove' (a lot of it is purely based on blackwashing CL, which is really a nuisance to elbow through, trying to filter the factual evidence people claim to have) lead me to suspect they love the attention they get by doing so. Like that private investigator. The guy who was hired to find Cobain and actually had him right under his nose a day before he was found. Some private investigator, the garage (with Cobain's car in it) and the greenhouse were hard to miss, looking at the pictures of the property. He could have been 'the guy who found Cobain', instead he had to deal with the rather pityful status of 'the guy who was paid to find him but failed to do so'. Apparently he found another way to be able to play his part in this whole sad business. If Kurt Cobain was killed by (or through) CL: - why was he shot when he'd had enough heroin inside his body to kill him anyway - why was he in the greenhouse with his killer (I can understand him going there on his own because it was the nearest closed/hidden space after leaving his car) - how was he forced to take the drugs without any sign of a struggle - how did the killer(s) know where to find his own gun; he had it with him? Why didn't he use it to protect himself then?

Why didn't he use it to protect himself then? Kurt had the gun whilst he was in the greenhouse, because he was watching out for intruders. It is not rocket science, it is very easily done.
- Why stage that suicide by including a totally unnecessary shotgun - increasing the chance of making mistakes by complicating the scene - when the overdose was convincing enough? - I thought the theory concerned a hitman he didn't know, who was the killer according to you? And why not just go inside the house and get the shot there with this alledgedly trusted person? The place where he always took his shots? - Kurt carried that gun with him all the time? There would have been eyewitnesses to confirm that, it was a big gun. Not something you hide in your pocket. There was only one reason for him to carry that gun: to use it.
Watch Soaked in Bleach if you haven't already. If it weren't for Tom Grant, the murder theory would be reserved for people who most would consider, nuts. At minimum, the case should be reopened and investigated by a neutral agency.
Not saying I know anything at all about what happened, because no one knows truly except Kurt and courtney. But the film Kurt and Courtney was great, Nick Broomfield is a brilliant film maker and he did nothing wrong in making that film.

The evidence in the case supports homicide not suicide. Surely Courtney, if innocent, would want to know who could have been involved in his death and would again, take the legal route to determine this. This however, has not been the case. In the book during the investigation that Tom Grant was doing on Courtney(she originally hired Grant to look for Kurt the few days he was missing, he then saw a lot of weird things so he then turned to investigating Courtney) they found a paper in Courtney's backpack of her practicing handwriting, of each letter, much like you would find in a child's backpack who was learning to write the alphabet. You just can't accept inconsistencies, and have already formed an opinion, which means your investigation skills would be worthless. Gelb is a leading polygrapher who tested El Duce, and it is untrue that all polygraphs aren't admissible in court, as Gelb worked on the OJ case.

Both her and Kurt had just completed Rehab voluntarily so I don't believe that either one was using. None of it makes any sense and so much was done unprofessionally or not at all.

14.) Three months after KC was murdered, DT, of the SPD, is murdered by two guys who set him up to be killed by pretending to have a flat tire.
15.) Lead on the KC case, Detective Cameron (DC), and the boss of DT, is fired three years after the murder of KC for bribery and corruption. He had been with SPD for 39 years.
16.) No fingerprints on the shotgun or shells.
So, I think CL had EE give KC a mickey in his root beer (the Valium found in KC's blood) and then have him give a massive dose of heroin when KC was already passed out. EE then leaves and Allen Wrench comes in alone, instructed by CL, to get the shotgun she knew KC had purchased with his buddy Dylan Carlson, and to use it on KC. Dylan admits he told CL about the shotgun prior. Then CL has EE give her rival, KP, an OD of heroin. EE is the only person to be seen entering her residence that night. He left 30 minutes later. So then CL hires some thugs to pretend a flat tire on the route of off duty DT and have him killed. Dead men tell no tales. In 2002 Dr NH dies. In 2022 CL settles out of court with her son in-law, Isaiah Silva, for his kidnapping and attempted murder.

Finger prints, DNA analysis and forensic evidence is considered circumstantial evidence and if all three support one another and point to the same thing it would hold its weight in court in securing a conviction much more so than just relying on eye witness testimony which can change or become distorted over time due to memory. Perhaps you misunderstand and underestimate the importance of circumstantial evidence.

Gordon Bennett All good points, but I still think it would be a tough case to win not only because all the physical evidence- the gun, the body, the whole greenhouse itself- is gone, along with DNA, but also because the Seattle PD has too much to lose by the truth coming out. They would do everything in their power to cover up evidence and sabotage the investigation and trial. Also think of all the behind the scenes powerful moneyed interests that have too much to lose. They would for sure bribe, threaten and even kill to maintain the cover up. I’m not sure anything short of a witness stand breakdown and confession by Courtney or a co-conspirator could do it.

Kurt may have bought the shotgun for protection and started using heroin because his stomach hurt. That has nothing to do with what he did with both after that initial purpose. And how does her own father know anything about anything, he wasn't even in their lives. That El Duce guy was hardly a thread btw, even if she did try to hire him at one stage. Where's the prove? He doesn't exactly look like the most reliable witness ever. Hardly worth the risk killing him.
In fact a lot of the people I see presenting all this 'prove' (a lot of it is purely based on blackwashing CL, which is really a nuisance to elbow through, trying to filter the factual evidence people claim to have) lead me to suspect they love the attention they get by doing so. Like that private investigator. The guy who was hired to find Cobain and actually had him right under his nose a day before he was found. Some private investigator, the garage (with Cobain's car in it) and the greenhouse were hard to miss, looking at the pictures of the property. He could have been 'the guy who found Cobain', instead he had to deal with the rather pityful status of 'the guy who was paid to find him but failed to do so'. Apparently he found another way to be able to play his part in this whole sad business.
If Kurt Cobain was killed by (or through) CL:
- why was he shot when he'd had enough heroin inside his body to kill him anyway
- why was he in the greenhouse with his killer (I can understand him going there on his own because it was the nearest closed/hidden space after leaving his car)
- how was he forced to take the drugs without any sign of a struggle
- how did the killer(s) know where to find his own gun; he had it with him? Why didn't he use it to protect himself then?

He most likely trusted his killer, and he did mention to other people that there were people invading his property. The best place to see those people was in the greenhouse.
