Its one of the reasons that I have their 4K bluray player bookmarked for the eventuality that I'm setting up a theater room in the future.
I wish the audio was better on streaming platforms. Say like Netflix and Amazon for example. They neuter any and all low end bass extension which is catered for TVs and Soundbars. Why do we that have proper sound systems but want to stream, have to suffer? We should be able to choose if we want the full bass extension version or the neutered version in the settings of these streaming platforms. It would be streaming that much better and might be the nail in the coffin for Blu-ray.
1) How do you expect to get uncompressed audio through Wi-Fi? 2) You’d rather pay monthly for life and risk your movies and TV shows getting delisted instead of owning them via 4K Blu-Ray?
@@jollama let me see. We have hi-res audio streaming for music. Our internet bandwidth is more than ample this day and age. I already pay more for Netflix 4k which just got another price increase, and with very little actual 4k content, so lossless streaming in that plan should be included. And physical media? I almost fell off my dinosaur laughing.
@@dicmccoy Your lossless streaming argument only nets you CD quality, that’s far from uncompressed Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. I’m the one who almost fell off laughing at you owning nothing. See what happens when you stop paying your Netflix subscription that you yourself even know got another price increase. The only reason you’d still be laughing after cancelling is because you’re delusional
One of the reasons I started collecting physical blu-rays and 4ks a few years ago, at least for many of my favorite movies...got so tired of problem you allude to, compression of audio and also video on streaming services. I pay hard earned bucks for a nice 4k tv and speakers, so only way to fully realize inherent quality of the device(s) is via a 4k blu-ray player.
The only reason Panasonic has returned to the U.S. is to increase their market share. It is obvious that the rest of the world was not generating enough revenue for them. What kind of sad individual needs to include a pride flag in an av comments section?
My senior dad got a Panasonic oled TV 65” I picked for him, just after the warranty the panel went dead. It was peanuts money and I will never buy another Panasonic Tv. Btw, maybe that is why you cannot buy Panasonic Tv in Canada thank god!
oooh, I didin't know Panasonic was coming back, that's good to hear. I wonder if it'll make the leap across the Border for those of us in Canada. I've always enjoyed what they've come up with.
@@dicmccoy Move to North Korea then since you seem happy owning nothing
Value Electronics been selling Panasonic tvs for over a year.
That's not anything new.
The only reason Panasonic has returned to the U.S. is to increase their market share. It is obvious that the rest of the world was not generating enough revenue for them. I would not even contemplate purchasing a Panasonic because they are using Fire TV IOS and in my opinion not a good choice. I use Google TV and I love everything about it. It's layout is excellent and navigation is a dream.
I A M F short for I'm fucked

Panny always good technical TV. But always UGLY design TV since years
New Panosonic is a miniled. Hard PASS 😂. Video stopped. NEXT. Only idiots still buy miniled. It will never be OLED! I don’t care if its AI is more powerful than SKYNET.
