Great video, Trottie! Your advice about making sure your shoulders are square or parallel to your starting line is so important. I started talking golf lessons last year and my coach told me I was the "strangest" lesson he's ever had. Not because my swing was super crazy, but I was shifting my weight way too much into my front leg verbatim my exaggerated feeling had gotten out of control. He helped me with that and I was turning my shoulders to the ball with driver. I fixed those two things and my slice turned into either a baby cut or nearly dead straight shots. I still prefer hitting fades with driver as I cannot control a draw like I can a fade. I eventing shortened my driver shaft by 1.25" (it was 45.75") and my strike consistency has improved ten fold!
Trottie! Thanks for giving the Stealth HD some LOVE! I believe it’s the most underrated head of the Stealth line-up and wish more bloggers and influencers reviewed and tested Stealth HD! For the amateur player, this head turns over so easy and has such a great flight! I put it in the BAG today mate, fitted with RDX Red 6.0. My only question is I fit best into the shaft at 45.25 rather than the standard 45.75. I’m 5’9 with a swing speed of 95 and not consistent in finding the center of the club face. Do you believe the shaft being a little shorter helps find the CENTER more even though sacrificing a little club and ball speed?? Thanks as always!!!!!
Hi. Because I'm a regular slicer, I'm interested in the HD version. The shaft that comes standard is the Air Speeder but if it's possible to choose other options like the Ventus Red and the Aldila Ascent? Do you think these two could be a better choice? Thanks
Tough to say without seeing you hit it & interacting with you. They’re all in that soft tip region though so with the correct head weight they could work
Is this a new head? All the people in the last few months that have been fitted for Stealth and Stealth + but this head wasn’t available. Is that not a bit of a sh1t thing to do to customers?
Most of what makes it a "draw" driver is weight placement in the head. Weight in the heel makes the toe want to close for a draw, and weight in the toe makes the toe want to stay open for a fade. We're also talking grams here so not much weight at all.
@@pacypacman No I didn't, my friend. He said it was unfair that the draw version of the head wasn't available to consumers, which I agree is crappy, but that the Plus with the adjustable weight could produce similar results with the weight in the heel. Although I'm sure the draw version is more forgiving than the Plus. I just didn't explain that very well in my original comment which I do apologize for. You can also do this with any driver by adding lead tape to the sole of the club toward the heel side. And if you're worried about the swing weight changing (which it will adding weight to the head, even a few grams), put a lighter grip on your driver to get back to the swing weight you started at. The good thing about lead tape is that it's easily removable if you don't like it. If that scares you take it to a clubfitter.
@@trottiegolf I can prove they are not including the fairways , the fairways for ages have completely different face and grove pattern even and drivers are also different faces.

I love it when a plan comes together
Great tip on set up Trottie, thank you.
Best thing taylormade has done is give this guy a channel
Wouldn’t mind adding one of these to the bag!
Can you do a test on changing the weights in the back so I can see the difference please

I think a shorter shaft does help with strike but that's me, you gotta go through the process for yourself .... thx for the comment pal
@@trottiegolf Thanks Trottie for the reply as I always appreciate your expertise and insight. Have a great weekend!!
What app you use for the ball tracking?
Shot Tracer
Id like to see a "D" driver vs "plus" with the weight all the way over in the heel. How much difference would there be?
I think I mention it, 15 yards maybe?
What shaft have you fitted yourself with?
Great thanks

big fan of taylormade
“Designed to give you a 15 yard draw every time” if a club could do this it would be illegal.
15 yards more right to left was the meaning.....so if you're currently slicing it 30 yards you arent going to see a draw haha
Is there a big difference between this and sim max2 d type Chris
Yes
@@trottiegolf best i go and get a fitting then mate. Your not in sunny Kent anytime 😂
8:06 and 0:04 are completely different releases, ones cut the other slight draw
Is it OK to have the driver if you don't slice?
absolutely !!
