@Genghis_Sean I think there's obyrinths and tanaari are the only 2 in the abyss natively, then they have other ones on the neutral evil planes lol. I love that I've finally found the channel of a fellow forgotten realms lore hound😊

@@goodanytimej8688 ya there's the yugoloths (aka daemons) which are neutral evil and act as mercenaries in the blood war, they were created in Hades but most dwell in Gehenna I believe. Then there's the Gehreleths (aka demodands) that are found in carceri and are obese torturers. There's also the baernoloths which some believe created the first yugoloths and then the yugoloths created baatezu and tanar'ri. But I'll get in depth in these in future videos :)
Oh man. There is so much about this that represents the present reality. And its fun to think about how much the creators know about the occulted nature of reality.....
I think that Minauros is a very interesting place for mid to high level adventurers to explore. They have the means to mitigate the weather of the plane and security is not very strict. Also, with enough money you can probably strike bargains with the locals to be left alone, at least for a while. Try pulling that on Cania or Dis, you will end up in a torture dungeon or encased in ice or both😂

These videos remind me how truly awful Planescape is, particularly the writing. It was yet another reason that 2nd edition drove me away from D&D, along with the baatezu/tanar'ri crap. No lore after 1e is real D&D IMO, though the later editions did come up with some good new devils and demons.

That’s the first time I’ve heard someone say 2e is what drove them away. Normally people love 2e and say that about 4 or 5e.

I mean 2e wasn’t that bad - I mean it wasn’t as heavy metal as 1e but it had some good additions - mainly I think it strategy for fighting and skills.
