Oh man you two have just made my day! BMW is my favourite car brand and I know every single tiny detail about them so to see BMW's in your video's made me love you two even more than I already do, If that is even possible😂 Such a great explanation of everything, Dubai is so beautiful! Can't wait for all the future content to come! Until then travel safely🤗😁
Cool video guys. Good info. When I lived in Brazil I couldn’t find any poppyseeds to buy for my coleslaw or breads, very strange but apparently you can test positive for narcotics. I would love to see a video about the alcohol laws and how women are treated differently there compared to men from an expat’s perspective. I remember years ago my ‘then’ husband was considering to accept a job as a pilot with Emirates and there were some rules I had serious issues with as they would have affected me just because I was a female.
Yes true, we had no idea when we first got to Dubai.. Thats a great insight! We would love to create a second part of this video with different rules and facts 🙌🏼!
20 years in prison for importing poppy seeds? 20 years in prison is almost like what happens when you commit 2nd degree murder in the USA and get convicted of that crime. So, therefore, Dubai's drug laws are very insanely harsh and severe, and only China and Singapore also have similar harsh drug laws there.
Ok are couples allowed to hold hands and/or kiss in public? I heard it's not allowed. And thank you for explaining the laws. I think the car cleaning law should be everywhere. Then you feel more proud of where you live.
You can hold hands but not kissing in public. If a policeman sees you, he will generally warn you to not do it. In my 13 years in Dubai, I've always had good interaction with the police.
@@enibeni2071 Honestly, I've never heard of anyone being fine for having a dirty car. You might get this fine when your registration can't be read. It's more against abandoned cars. Although, police is very discreet and you rarely have encounter with police. I've spent a third of my life in Dubai and got stopped by the police only twice in 13 years while being stopped by the police in France (home country) many times during random controls in less years. While my behaviour was the same.
Poppy seeds, 😲 I usually sprinkle them liberally on my Challah, or either sesame seeds. Or both! Thanks for the heads up. . . probably I'll never be there, but I wouldn't have had a second thought about using poppy seeds.
Good and interesting information about fines and illegal activities in Dubai. It would also be interesting to investigate the equivalent in other countries as well. What about fines and illegal activities in for example Thailand or Japan? If you get the chance, please investigate and report here!
God bless you abundantly my Angel s .. loads nd loads of good wishes nd prayers..u both are life for each one of us..the best you tube channel in the whole wide world. satisfying to the inner soul. ,❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing this information. Can you work for Emirates Airlines again? Airport customer service? Cos you both are fantastic.. very friendly and happy.
Yes!! we also used to make poppy seed rolls and never would have thought it would be illegal anywhere..! Thank you ❤️ I use the Maybelline "Falsies Lash lift" =)
Hi, I have visited Dubai like twice in 2012 and 2013, I was wondering the clean car rule and car washing rule, Are those new rules or does it depend if your in the main Dubai CBD? You see when I went with my mum the first time in 2012 and 2013 the second time with my mum and sister ,we saw loads of dirty cars, I was like are there any car wash in Dubai? I even remember seeing a particular Toyota on the motorway dirty and funnily even he was unconsciously dragging a piece of card board in front of his car bumper at around 100Km/h I was in the taxi at the time, anyway I'm know Dubai is surrounded by desert and with the occasional Sand storm, your cars will get dirty at some point. Thing is if I stayed in Dubai and owned a car, I would be at the car wash everyday. As for food imports, besides Poppy seeds (Not a staple in Seychelles) are there any other particular foods that are illegal and what about if I want to bring fresh Seychelles fish into Dubai, besides the permits which I know you should have, Are there any other paperwork/formalities that you need to do before importing those items into Dubai?
I love your videos as usual, and some of these fines should be implemented here in Spain (swearing against others on the highway or spreading fake news, etc.) I remember traveling on the subway there only with women, and no men annoyed me - that's great!
Hello, I'm a big fan of you lovely couples, can I ask u guys a question? I prefer u guys should live in the USA California and I need a video of that pls
You are a sweet couple. Your videos are great and extremely interesting. -I would never go to Dubai, not for a single day. I would be constantly afraid of accidentally doing something wrong. So many things that are harmless are punished harshly. I don't like this constant punishment culture. I find it depressing and intimidating.
Does this mean that if you have a colleague that you absolutely hate going on a business trip to Dubai that you can sneak a poppy seed bagel into his suitcase?
Now suppose you are a filmmaker in Dubai as a tourist, and you see two illegal drag racers floor themselves on the street and then they collide and they end up in a terrible accident there. You want the thrill of filming the accident as Emerati police come by and the fire department--with your smartphone. But then, something terrible happens to you. An Emerati police officer then orders you to go down on the ground, confiscate your cell phone camera and they send you to a police lockup jail for 8 hours. Then you are investigated and then you say to them, "I was not interfering with your business--I was just filming!" The authorities then say to you, "I will let you go, but you will be immediately deported, and once you get deported out of Dubai, YOU WILL NEVER BE WELCOME BACK!" Fortunately they give the smartphone back to you before they oust you out of the country. The lesson - you probably know that if you want to film in Dubai---YOU MUST GET CONSENT FIRST. However, even with consent, it is still very "haram" to film any accidents as a tourist in Dubai. If not deported, you face up to ten thousands of "dirhams" in very stiff fines and you can face a good amount of jail time. Filming accidents is generally a severe violation of not only the investigators' privacies but also the victims and perps of the accident as well. So don't film any such scenes ever in Dubai.
Wow. Thank you for confirming for me that I will never set foot in Dubai. Ridiculous. I knew they had human rights issues, misogynistic and bigotic, but this takes the cake and I have zero interest in ever visiting.
I am a Project Manager and Quantity Surveyor, I can safely say I will not be welcome in Dubai. It is one of the most racist countries in the UAE. I applied for work in Dubai for a total of 40 years when there was nothing but sand there, in return I got nothing but death threats from construction companies in Dubai. I can safely say I will be put in prison for a very long time if I worked as a Project Manager/Quantity Surveyor over there, construction companies simply find my ability offensive, in their view I should be able to do nothing at all. Here is an example try Damac, one of the leading developers in Dubai. You will find they are all the same. In England, the most a black Project manager can make in a construction company is £6000 per year. The Directors will be so insulted by my ability as a Project Manager they will try to put in prison for life. In America the Directors of a typical construction company will encourage that I receive the death penalty. A Project Manager in construction is a dangerous occupation for a black person in Dubai and the United States.
Enjoyed the video. Big fan ❤...just 1 thing. You get too pushy with your veganizm. 👎 No need to be mentioned at every occasion. Quite disturbing and cringe to people who are on a healthy meat diet and have eating habits proven by humanity thousands of years before woke nonsense. Thank you 😊
So in india you see everyone curses bad words and do bad gestures i think this is a bad gesture you are making in your video by degrading about a country very bad of you both didnt quite expected this from you
I think you misunderstood.. we said that the traffic can be quite bad and super busy like in other countries that we’ve experienced- like India and Vietnam for example.. didn’t say that you curse and say bad words 🤔
It was such a fun concept to see your vlogs intergrated with this information!!!! Loved this!
Thank you 😍👍🏼
so glad this channel is growing so well, great to see a channel get the recognition they deserve. Can't wait to see where this channel goes from here.

Good incorporation of examples into your daily vlog! Now know how much Dubai cares about image.
This was such an interesting video I had no idea Dubai had these rules .

I just discovered you guys today and I'm already obsessed. You're content is so into details
So informative! I’ve been to Dubai and actually saw a man flip off a tour bus. I was shocked knowing it was illegal!
Oh wow!! Lucky he didn't get in trouble 🙊😅!
I'm dreaming of becoming a flight attendant. Watching your videos help me get more motivations. I hope i make it one day.
Hi guys! Thank you for sharing, its good to know all these to avoid trouble 🙏
Thanks for watching!🙏🏼

In my 13 years in Dubai, I've always had good interaction with the police.
The cleaning law is abusive for people who are poor, who don't own a garage, who don't have enough money for spending in cleaning services.

@@enibeni2071 there’s no poor people in dubai

The poppy seeds thing is crazy 😂
Yes! It’s such a good thing to know- how differently it’s considered here 🙊🙉!

Why Dubai is like this? I didn’t expect that poppy seeds are banned! Shall I go for a trip then? Do you recommend me going as a visitor?
Beautiful video 🌺🌺
Thank you very much!
What is the brand and color of your lipstick at the very beginning? It’s so pretty!
Traveling to Dubai without travel insurance is now illegal.

Me and my wife are visiting to Dubai next month😊
Great! You should be safe with the facts discussed in the video then 😄😄 Enjoy it!!
Who remembers the Seinfeld episode where one of them (I think Cramer) fails a drug test because of some poppyseed muffins?! 😂😂😂
Interesting laws!
Is filming for youtube allowed? Do you need a licence or permission? Hoping to visit soon
