Yes,and India is shit in collecting taxes. The "poor" farmers will have lot of other assets as well in forms of not just land but fish,prawn lakes, land filled with coconut/any trees,2-3 houses in their village and their children studying in foreign countries for free or minimal fees, And sending them back what they earn there. These farmers won't pay a single rupee to govt but take all the schemes the govt has to offer. Ofcourse there will be farmers with just agriculture land but they're just too small coz most of the people who farm know that they can't live by just doing farming. I am from a farmer family so I know the things, farmers provide food to us but they aren't the gods from above is what people should realise. The tax burden is mainly borne by middle class employees who live pay check to pay check.
But employees are paying indirect taxes while buying a services or goods and also paying direct tax(income tax) where as business person is paying only indirect taxes whenever he buy a service or product....... Thats the reason why the Indian budjet is limited to lesser comparing to other forwarded countries.... Only one tax should be collected from people that indirect tax... Don't put pain on only employees by collecting IT

The income population you mentioned seems official data of employees in india. There will be many local business people today are earning more than 10lakhs in a year and I never saw them paying any taxes. If you include them as well the graph should shift upward
Yes,and India is shit in collecting taxes. The "poor" farmers will have lot of other assets as well in forms of not just land but fish,prawn lakes, land filled with coconut/any trees,2-3 houses in their village and their children studying in foreign countries for free or minimal fees, And sending them back what they earn there. These farmers won't pay a single rupee to govt but take all the schemes the govt has to offer. Ofcourse there will be farmers with just agriculture land but they're just too small coz most of the people who farm know that they can't live by just doing farming. I am from a farmer family so I know the things, farmers provide food to us but they aren't the gods from above is what people should realise. The tax burden is mainly borne by middle class employees who live pay check to pay check.

But employees are paying indirect taxes while buying a services or goods and also paying direct tax(income tax) where as business person is paying only indirect taxes whenever he buy a service or product....... Thats the reason why the Indian budjet is limited to lesser comparing to other forwarded countries.... Only one tax should be collected from people that indirect tax... Don't put pain on only employees by collecting IT
