Due to lack of knowledge in investing, I invested in a chit fund for 30months which actually impacted my returns.
But at 25yrs, when covid crash happened, I started my investment journey in stock market

Expenses : 15% ( I am not married so less expenses)

I started in early 20's and my real investing started early 40's. I have done all the mistakes mentioned and now trying straighten now. I hope youngsters follow this process mentioned by Sai. Do not compare yourself with others and you are unique and understand yourself and take good decisions

Marriages are recommended immediately after a job and both partners to be financially independent post marriage in their 20s itself. Otherwise the age won't co-operate for many things in 30s. Also the kids would grow early and aspire their career quickly and become financially independent before even the parents retire in Mid -50's and they can survive on their own.
