    Great review Mr. Chambers. Thanks for taking the time. You covered all of the parts that I needed to see. I’m close to the end of my research. I think that this is the one I need. Also nice to buy from a company that believes in treating their employees right.

      Hello My Friend, if I could change anything, I would get the telescoping lift like in a dump truck. They did not have that option when I purchased my trailer. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year to you and yours.

      I would think twice about getting a telescopic lift on a 16’ dump trailer. The salespeople talk up this kind of lift, but it sure seems less stable IMHO. Try this test: raise the bed on a telescopic lift to about 7’ (or as high as you can reach), grab the bottom of one of the front corners of the bed & try to push it side to side. Not good if you ever have to dump on a surface that isn’t completely level. You’ll see why I’m a fan of the good old fashioned scissor lift - lots more steel holding the bed to the chassis of the trailer.

      @@G.I.JeffsWorkbench I understand your concern. . . it does make sense. Thank you.

    I have the exact trailer
    Added remote to the dump and side boards
    Next will need long arm tarp system
    Pulling the tarp over and back by yourself can be a challenge
    When your loaded above the sides
    Also added a 2500lb winch up on the back
    Keep an eye on the paint
    Mine and several others have had issues
    I recommend calling the factory and getting there paint as it’s an exact match
    Otherwise 2 plus years using in a commercial setting it’s held up well

      I need to add a remote one of these days. Good idea about the extended tarp system. Thanks for watching.

    Good choice going big. My 5x10 is too small. Wish I had at least a 14ft trailer. Now I have to spend another $4000 on a utility trailer to haul the tractor.

      Very expensive mistake

      @danielchambers1958  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yea . . . I almost went that route with the 5x10, but went with a one size deal. A GN 16 footer was the best choice for me. Have a good one buddy.

    Nice trailer I'm thinking about the same 16ft just deciding between 14k or 21k triaxle 3ft sides

    • @danielchambers1958
      @danielchambers1958  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I chose the two foot sides because I could add side boards if needed. Also, I have a 26 hp tractor and I don't think it will reach over the three foot sides. Just a thought. Congrats on your future purchase!

    The reason it has a seam is because its 16 ft long. That sheet steel either only comes in 14 ft or that's all they order

    How do you like this trailer after a year of use. I’m highly considering this as an upgrade for wood and hauling business.

    • @danielchambers1958
      @danielchambers1958  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Actually, the trailer is full of trash as I type this comment 😁. Too wet here to dump. I love the low sides very much. Only trouble was tires…. Replace the factory set ASAP! I had two blowouts in one day while loaded☹️☹️☹️. Trailer is working well. I hope this helps.

      @@danielchambers1958 thanks man. I was thinking of having them upgrade to the heavier tires anyways right off the bat.
