Made it two Dr put V8 hemi in it then called it grand national mmh mmh also did something different with the back the front is cool 😂 I just notice Buicks either have good front an horrible backs or good backs an ugly fronts smh dam Buick
@@user-jq1kq9hy1t You're a day late and a dollar short. The reason it was discontinued was because it was uninspiring. Like I said, they should've put a big turbo on it and given it 500 horsepower.
Thanks for putting this video together. You are right in that it is helpful prior to going into the dealer. I am not looking this minute, but it's on my list for a few months out. Unfortunately, I am not in your part of the country or I would come by.
This car was killed by the sale of GM’s European operations to PSA (Peugeot) . They were originally supposed to be built in Australia but is currently built by Opel in Russelheim, Germany. A great car just starting it’s development. Being discontinued unfortunately as it’s it’s brother the Holden Commodore.
How log are these gonna be sold for as I wanna get one March 2020 It's a bit away I know. I hear either Peugeot or Renault or one of the mainland Euro vix companies took over. I know currently for the Regal it's Opel/Vauxhall.
All this thing needed was a Stage 1 Supercharger, would crank out 380 - 400 horses on low boost, would get amazing torque and increase fuel efficiency when not being floored. Would also increase the "sporty feeling" of the car. ProCharger makes a P1SC HO kit for the Camaro that in theory would work on this car, uses stock internals and fuel systems, straight bolt on kit.
Where can I find a Buick regal gs sportback the 2018 ? Black one I don't see a new one or a used one ? Where are they ? Is this actually the 2019 model and they were showing it for the 2018 year or something because ? I have been looking on all websites and have not found one ??
They're hard to find. The dealer reply to you is funny... he sent you to a website where you can build one, not where you can find a dealer with one of these in stock. Terrible.
I have a 2019 regal 4cyclinder turbo put two 12 inch subs and 20 inch marquee wheels with tinted windows it’s clean looks just like this one though lol might consider the GS
20:23 - John, the infotainment user interface in your example of the Regal looks different than it does in other videos of the Regal. The icons on the home screen in your video are somewhat generic looking. It's a clean look that I like. In other videos the icons look like they are more customized to be unique to Buick. There are a number of other videos online that show a different UI than what you show. Here's one example. th-cam.com/video/qeIhkY79PX8/w-d-xo.html The home screen is shown in this video right around the 10 minute mark. Do you have any idea why there is a differnce?
I know this is four years later but in the other videos infotainment center, the driver is using Apple CarPlay which changes to that configuration. I believe it is like this in every vehicle that supports Apple CarPlay.
@@saladdressing3896 Look at the infotainment screen in this video at 20:23 like I mentioned. This is the Home screen. Look at the 8 icons on the screen. Then look at the Alex on Autos video at 9 min 30 sec, you'll see the icons are different. GM / Buick did a mid year update on the infotainment on the GS. The dealer in this video also makes mention of the update at about 19:50.
The early 2018 Regals have GM’s prior generation infotainment system. Starting sometime in April, 2018, they changed the infotainment system to the newer Android based system. You will also notice that early non-GS Regals have red needle gages and an older DIC. The April 2018 update changed gages to white needle without the “hoods” and updated DIC.
Air climate controls in the infotainment center I think is not a reliable design. I would prefer knobs and buttons. It's a no brainer that this is why vehicles have become so expensive.
@Smail Buick GMC Cadillac why do you have mph dashboard ? here .. this guy have kmh th-cam.com/video/kFpEjrroaP4/w-d-xo.html or can you choose it when you wann buy this car in america ?
Did American car companies not learn anything from the 2008 crash. I blame Opel for giving America this version of the Opel insignia, one of the most fuel efficient cars in Europe, and turning.it into this monstrosity
Buick is more upscale than a general midsize sedan. Basically, the people who buy these vehicle are looking for power and not fuel efficiency. Most people have forgotten than Buick and it's brother Oldsmobile were upper scale vehicles until GM started going financially broke and were putting out junk for a long time.
They should have put a big turbo on this thing and increased the power to 500 and called it a Grand National.
Rick W Would canabalize Caddy sales.

@@ryangood1414 They would seriously be out of business putting a Hemi V8 in this car sporting a General Motors (Buick) badge..😉..
I rented one in Cali and it was really nice and could GO

The best feature of all straight from the 90's..... Halogen headlights!
