Oh god I worked at Target before the Canadian branches shut down. Threshold also make full sized welcome mats in that horrendous prickly material. I can't describe how painful it was putting them on the shelves by hand. It's like slamming your palms into a large cactus. Not surprised I never saw one leave the store.

This is the most enjoyable video Ashens has put out in a great while IMO. Not that I think the quality has dipped as of late but this has had several 'pause the video to laugh' moments for me, which is usually a 1 time at most event. All of the cut-away gags hit on the mark and so on.
That bear is honestly the sort of Christmas tat I would buy. I have a tree ornament of a deer made from a similar material that's missing an eye and a felt penguin with the beak in the wrong place. I love slightly deformed ornaments.
Anyone see the green glitch-looking screen at the very last second of the video? Turn the speed down all the way and watch carefully, then pause. I can't quite make out what it says.
The reason for the plain white LED lights is because they then sell separately some plastic clip on covers in the shape of baubles, snowflakes etc. I know this because just last week I was standing in a queue at my local IKEA that was long enough for me to see and take in what the point of them were. They also had what appeared to be piano legs with an LED candle flame on top.
About those small Christmas lights, in marching band and concert band, during December we would have our instruments wrapped with them. At night in large numbers they would reflect off of then rather nicely, so they do have a use, if rather niche
