  • I was off work for 6 weeks due to the birth of my first child. Now I am back and guess what! Even though a bit late to the game, I am showing the beautiful redesigned Honda CR-V!! In this video we have the Crystal Black Pearl CR-V Hybrid Sport Touring and by its side, the beautiful Canyon River Blue CR-V EX-L.
    There has been a lot of changes and I personally love the outside and the comfort of the inside. Better visibility, quieter drive, much more smoother ride, better sound system, more advanced technology and more space inside the cargo area!
    So join me in watching this video and hopefully, more videos to come...

    As hard as I try, I cannot get past the chrome vents in the front. The lower-model hybrid blacks them out, which helps, but that awful design has me gravitating more toward the EX-L, even though the Touring is better value proposition with all of the features that are included.

    • @NarimSan

      I see your point. It is not an ideal suggestion but have it considered blacking out the chrome pieces? It will solve the cosmetic issue.

    I purchased a 2023 CR-V Touring Sport Hybrid AWD. I like the SUV … I traded our 2020 CR-V Touring AWD for the new 2023. I’m really disappointed with the Hybrid electric motors . When going on a very slight incline in the city / local towns the engine will turn back on rather then the electric motors staying engaged for better mileage. You can be driving on a highway thar is very level and the gas motor will turn on & off to assist the electric motors. Keep in mind the battery indicated the battery was 3/4 charged. Also very minor, Honda should have made the cup holders for the front seat passengers deeper so they can hold a normal size cup from “falling” over.

    • @NarimSan
      @NarimSan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Richard, thank you for the comment! The hybrid CRV is not designed to drive in full electric mode and yes, the engine does tend to "turn on and off" when driving depending on how you drive. You can adjust the way it switches though based on having the car be on ECON mode or EV mode. The charge just indicates how much power is reserved in the battery and is not an indicator of how long it can stay on full electric mode. I am sorry about your experience and I am sure there are lots of resources on www.hondainfocenter.com for you to learn more about these features.

      I drive in the “normal “ most of the time . I realize the CR-V is not designed to “run” off the battery all the time. However I thought when driving on fairly flat roads it would make more use of the battery until it “called “ for charging.
