You can find good singers at all ages, actually. He's one of them.
It's usually painful listening to younger kids play covers, but this was a pleasure listening to. Impressed me, that's for sure.

So many bands have tried to cover this song and these kids put most of them to shame. There's something to be said about a younger band being able to capture the essence of this song. They bring a certainly quality and passion to this performance that only youth can bring, just as the Smashing Pumpkins did when this song first came out.
I've seen your cover of seven nation army I was like, "nicely done!" It was okay. But now I realize how awesome you are and that it was just under your standards. When I saw this on my playlist I thought this was going to suck but you were just great. And last compliment for the singer, your singing was so emotional . Billie Corgan would be proud.

love this. if i have kids I am going to teach my knowledge of vocals piano , guitar... don't know much but they will end up better than be as i was better than my parents. Also, i remember being able to sing high notes as a 10 year old like him.... and then...voice change haha

you guys really know how to play together. great rhythm and performance overall. I'd just say you, Gavin, need a little work on your singing. It's great (especially considering your age) but still. I think a big problem lots of young boys have when singing is that they are afraid to go into the higher tones because kids tease eachother a lot and will call someone girly for singing with a high voice, but you shouldn't care about that :)
P.S I haven't checked any newer videos so I don't know if any of this has changed. this is the first video I see of you so, if it has changed never mind this comment. rock on!
