Btw my Dad had a Jeep XJ when I was a nipper, fantastic bit of kit but unfortunately caught fire thanks to some dodgy wiring 🙈 ... Good to see you are keeping this one fire free and on the roads though.

I used to drive a citroen cabbed kfs alko chassis beavertail, best in class. Used to carry brand new jag xe's no problem.

Love the channel, I’m looking at starting up myself in Doncaster. Plenty of cow boys about hoping to establish myself purely by been reliable and professional. I’m stuck between getting a Brian James 3.5t trailer or a 3.5t recovery truck. Do you have any advice for please. 😎

That is two simples way to success for sure Professional & Reliable, 3.5t truck you can drive up and down county but wont get more than 1600kg payload, trailer can cater for 2500kg but restricted if doing transport up and down country and need operators license / tachos , unless doing local breakdown work only etc, both have advantages and disadvantages! BUT we all start somewhere!

I saw an empty transit beavertail towing a trailer with a rangerover on the trailer. Ignoring the fact he was doing about 80mph in the fast lane thats surely overweight or is that okay?

Get some mk7 van alloys or similar on it. That'll drop some weight.
