Little did the singers of the 70s know they'd be the last generation of truly phenomenal vocal artists in opera. Things really went downhill after the 80s. I daresay the era of Fleming/Bonney/Graham (late 90s) was the last truly great era. Everything is modern productions now that insult the audience, not trusting that good singing will be enough.
Its a great quartet and this group of singers are super. I recognise the wiponderful Lucia Poppbut not the others. No credits and not in the description either . Can someone help?
