Both 2002 designs are still my favorite designs. The ones we have now are pretty good as well. I hope they update the womens tag team title belts soon.
The version of the United States tag team titles in the picture at 1:27- 2:11 are from between 1958-1960 as the team in the picture is, I believe, The Golden Grahams (Jerry and Eddie Graham) who were champs around that time period 4 different times.
The version introduced around 1985-86 went to an all gold design sometime in the middle of 1990. They were still two-tone silver and gold at Wrestlemania VI and were all gold at SummerSlam ‘90.
Brother, great video. A history lesson for all wrestling fans. With me, I think that I now see why the title belts from the start of the "Federation years" to the present are belts that are sold by WWE Shop and have such great connection with fans. The orders belts from the 50s, 60s, and 70s are just like having trophies and easily the not most attractive, but have history in it. And now I see why WWE Shop has the classic belts of the 80s have more collectability than older belts. Truly a wonderful experience and true appreciation for wrestling title belts. Now the video should focus on the history of the WWF/WWE Women's title.
The scratch logo hasn't aged the best unfortunately. I'm amazed it lasted 15 years. By the mid 2000s it was looking a bit outdated. You might even argue it should have been retired as early as 2002.
The money Inc version of the World tag team belts is my favorite from the golden era, then is the Ruthless Agression World tag team title belts with the red globe, I just love those belts
I personally love the 02-10 tag belts. Both Raw and SmackDown I started watching wrestling in this time frame and all the belts from this time are the most iconic to me.
Folk crap on the gladiator belts, but I actually liked them. They actually show a visible element beyond just wording that indicates they are meant to be team belts. I like that symbolism.
I hate all the modern championships. World, WWE, Tag team ( Both) Intercontinental, United States, Women ( both) . The reason is that the WWE logo is plastered in the middle of ALL them, but maybe except the U.S. championship. I think the championships look better with the logo at the top.
You can tell Hunter is having to compromise with the marketing team and TKO higher ups with the new belt designs. But he has had more hits(the new IC with the blue globes, the world heavyweight championship, the WWE tag team championship) then misses(the god awful new silver NXT belts). I too wish the logos weren't displayed so prominently. It definitely hurts the perception of the prestige of the belts in my mind.

tag titles lost so much prestige when they went with those penny designs

Fun fact, my Grandpa went to school with one half of the first tag champs (1971). Luke Graham.

Great Job, as you went back to the beginning of the company, unlike others who want to skip the very early history.
All the titles looked way better with the block WWF logo than the scratch logo

2004 World Tag Team Championships and the 2018-2024 and present Raw Tag Team Championships are my favorites
The SmackDown Six Tag Belts are THE BEST Tag Team Belt designs WWE ever produced. Followed by the Attitude Era tags than the UK tags
The unused penny belt version is beautiful 😍
The first WWF World Tags from the early 80s were ithe exact same design as the old NWA National tag titles.
wwe should have taken ideas from the old raw world tag title for the new raw world tag titles just made bigger with the side plates they used
I like both raw and smackdown 2002 designs and 2024 smackdown design
My personal favourites will always be the 1990s design.
Look ma, the pizzeria uno tag team championships!!!
What I do is split wwf and wwe and wwwf up instead of calling them all wwe
I do a similar thing. There was, wwf, wcw and ecw, now it's all under the wwe umbrella
The most confusing lineage.
I can’t find ur wwe commemorative world heavyweight championship video not short do u know where it is?

I liked the OG ones but absolutely HATED the brand specific versions...
