I learn something new, every time I watch your videos! I would have traded also, even not knowing the value of the gryllos...just because it's odd and old (I resemble that remark!)
some say, the images are symbols taken from Homer and his writings and others have ideas of their meanings but the definite relation to Greece is evident and brings to mind, all the wonderful stories and cultural influences, Greece has brought to the world.
Love the ring also, crisp and perfect, surrounded by a crown of gold...almost like it's peeking out a balcony window, at the moon!

I would definitely have chosen the antique fob (it is so beautiful!!)...I value a piece of history over a piece that might be considered more valuable monetarily.

Looking forward to the moonstones presentation! 🥰🙌🏻 I have done trades before on my Poshmark platform from folks I trusted. I traded a Diamond bridal ring set for a whole bunch of high grade gemstones such as tourmalines, topaz, all kinds of very high grade AAA quality crystals in their rough and raw and cab form. It was such a great experience because it was an inheritance that the receiver didn’t care for and they were in the market for a bridal set.😍

That would have been a tough call for me! The fob is beautiful, but I think I'd get more use out of the ring, and the it being a natural star sapphire certainly makes it special. I've never done a trade but I would if the opportunity presented itself :) As a complete aside, what do you use to record your videos?
HI Jewelry, Etc! I like the logic you used - both pieces are special for sure! I record my videos on my laptop (windows) and use the native video editing app. I create the slides as images, and then do voiceovers for those using audacity for the audio ❤
