I'm from the southeast United States and my great-grandfather would always put honey on his garlic bread. Until now I had never seen a single other person outside my family eat garlic bread with honey. It's so delicious.
I used this recipe several times now and I always find ways to improve it. The first four times I made it, I used the cream cheese and garlic spread as filling and gradually made thinner bread each time. The fourth time was excellent, perfect ratio of garlic/cream cheese and mozzeralla cheese and the bread had the thickness I was looking for. I also made buns with this dough and used the same garlic filling and the buns were delicious. The bread is thicker for the buns, but it was softer and more filling than the cheese fingers. Today I used tomato basil seasoned marinara sauce as the filling and turned the bread into a pizza; i had regular sausages as a topping and flattened the dough really thin and it turned out spectacular!! I also did buns with some of the dough--sauce, cheese, sausage and spread a little bit of garlic spread inside the dough before closing--and they were just as good. Seriously, this is a S-tier recipe and I will continue to use it so long as I love making garlic cheese breads!!

This looks so delicious. The only thing I would change is to bake it in a pan with butter to get that buttery crunchy crust. Another thing you could do is to roll it thinner and fold it with mozzarella stuffed inside. That way you will get crunchy buttery garlic flavored crust at the top of breadsticks with stuffed mozzarella inside, instead of a pizza type breadsticks.

I let it rest for about 2 hours room temp. and put in the refrigerator for another 2 hours (total of 4 hours because we're having it for afternoon snack. So so so gooood. P.S if you dont have cream cheese for the Garlic Sauce, you can just combine together 1 tbsp. Room temp butter(creamed) 1 tbsp. Garlic 1 tsp. Sugar 1 tsp. Mayonnaise 1 tbsp. Green onion Try it!! And you'll never regret it❤❤❤💓

Unfortunately, it's not working for me so far, and I'm not sure what I did wrong - I measured out all of the ingredients according to specifications (technically my instant yeast was 7g), but the "dough" had the consistency of pancake batter, including an hour later after it rose, and it was unusable for this. The recipe looks good, though. Edit: Letting the dissolved yeast sit for a longer period of time (at least five minutes) before adding the flour, and introducing the water and oil gradually (I poured the water in fourths and the oil in thirds), helped a lot. The recipe turned out amazing. Thanks so much.

This is a very interesting take on what I've been eating my whole life, which is an Atlantic Canadian thing called Garlic Fingers. I'd like to try this version some time. The sauce for our version is Vinegar, Condensed Milk and sugar (or sweetened condensed milk), and garlic powder. The pizza dough is however topped with just butter, garlic (like garlic bread), and topped with cheese. It's similar idea with the savoury and sweet. This would probably be very similar to the Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread I assume. Thanks for sharing.
I made this thing for my family, but a little bit bigger with some extra ingredients like pepperoni and they all loved it! They said it was a great "pizza" 😂

I made this recipe early in the morning on Christmas. I brought this over to my family for Christmas dinner and they thought it was amazing and it tasted very good. Thank you so so much for sharing this recipe ❤️ I know out there on TH-cam there are others who make similar things but I saw that this bread was eggless and I really wanted to try it for that reason. I do not really like working with egg 😅 I do want to actually want to leave two recommendations as well; I have no idea if it actually made a difference in the bread: 1) Instead of using butter, I used heavy whipping cream. It came out delicious and the cream flavor was noticeable
Maybe it could be because the water was too hot and killed the yeast or the place where you left it to rest was not hot, what I do if the environment is cold and I need my dough to ferment, is to heat the microwave for a few seconds and then put my dough inside and let it rest there; it always works for me.

Fellow Americans: I made this twice. It was good the first time but I wanted bigger and a little saltier. Here it is converted to fill a baking sheet: Dough: 2 tsp instant yeast 2 tsp sugar 1 cup warm water Mix and let rest for 3-5 mins 2 tsp salt 2 cups bread flour (may need a little more)- start with 2 and feel it out) 1 TBSP olive oil Knead and rest 1.5 to 2 hours Garlic Spread: 4 TBSP unsalted butter-soft 4 TBSP cream cheese- soft Dash garlic salt 2 tsp minced garlic Pinch parsley Pinch oregano After mozzarella/parmesan/ oregano toppings, bake at 425F for 12-15 mins

How do u ferment the dough? Is says warm place but I see Celsius which is usually cold not sure which one is a typo
@@palmtoptiger1405 'Celsius' isn't necessarily cold, it's just a different temperature scale.
@@palmtoptiger1405 36°C-40°C is around 96°F-104°F, u can convert celsius to fahrenheit with a search on the internet too :)

This channel is dangerous. Everything always looks so good, and it's usually so easy to make. I've already made several things I've found here, and this was probably the easiest and one of the tastiest ones yet. It should be illegal for something this delicious to be so simple to make.

I made this recipe early in the morning on Christmas. I brought this over to my family for Christmas dinner and they thought it was amazing and it tasted very good. Oh my gosh. This bread is amazing!! It is so delicious and my family & neighbors really liked it!! Thank you so so much for sharing this recipe ❤️ I know out there on TH-cam there are others who make similar things but I saw that this bread was eggless and I really wanted to try it for that reason. I do not really like working with egg 😅
I do want to actually want to leave two recommendations as well; I have no idea if it actually made a difference in the bread:
1) Instead of using butter, I used heavy whipping cream. It came out delicious and the cream flavor was noticeable

made this today and it tasted amazing, although my dough seemed extra stiff. I had to wait four hours for the dough to rise but it was all worth it!

Reckon it could be due to insufficient sugar. Mine’s taking a long time to rise too
i think it could happen also if you dont put it in enough warm space (40°C)
Maybe it could be because the water was too hot and killed the yeast or the place where you left it to rest was not hot, what I do if the environment is cold and I need my dough to ferment, is to heat the microwave for a few seconds and then put my dough inside and let it rest there; it always works for me.
I made it today, it was so good
I used sweet chilli sauce as a dip, it worked perfect for it
looks delish! Though I think it could use some more time in the oven, the bread looks a bit raw
I loved everything about this cheesy bread especially the cheese 🤤🤤 I definitely have to try this and with the honey dip.

Fellow Americans: I made this twice. It was good the first time but I wanted bigger and a little saltier. Here it is converted to fill a baking sheet:
Dough:
2 tsp instant yeast
2 tsp sugar
1 cup warm water
Mix and let rest for 3-5 mins
2 tsp salt
2 cups bread flour (may need a little more)- start with 2 and feel it out)
1 TBSP olive oil
Knead and rest 1.5 to 2 hours
Garlic Spread:
4 TBSP unsalted butter-soft
4 TBSP cream cheese- soft
Dash garlic salt
2 tsp minced garlic
Pinch parsley
Pinch oregano
After mozzarella/parmesan/ oregano toppings, bake at 425F for 12-15 mins

edit: i forgot to update this but yes i've made them and they were so good! my dough wasn't really as stretchy as hers and the rising wasn't the same as hers (it was smaller and less puffier idk why) but it still turned out really nice ;)
ps. i had a hard time with the measurements so i just kinda eye balled them, maybe that's why my dough turned out different 😭
Maybe it didn't rise the same bc either ur house is cold?
After you add the cheese, fermanate it for another 30 min before u put it in oven so it will get bigger and puffier :). Please try.
