Man, seeing this interview after he passed is just crazy. Been a fan of Ka for 10 years now and never saw this interview until now. Thank you for doing this and still having it up, it’s definitely huge for his legacy for people to be able to see this. RIP to one of the greatest to ever touch a mic, about to go spin Grief Pedigree now 🙏🏼

Night's Gambit was crazy and Days with Dr. Yen Lo is one of my favorite hip hop albums from this year. I've become a huge fan of this cat. He says things in this interview (and in his music) that resonate with me deeply. From 7:26 on... man. Put your ears to this and listen to a guy that understands the art of hip hop and takes it seriously. "There was another time when cats was like, "Yo! I didn't even write that rhyme!" or "I just spit that real quick." I was taking offense to all that. Aye yo B it takes time to sculpt. The Sistine Chapel was done in how fast you could do it. It took years. David was sculpted like, "Yo! I did that in a day!" There's no time on art..."- Ka

this is the most down to earth and practical interview i’ve sat down and watched in a long time.
