Hey! The QH is clear of the PTO as long as it is all the way up. I then shut the hydraulic valve so that it can't leak down or I make the mistake of bumping it. But you are right, it can sometimes be a nuisance but it is VERY handy for quick daily chores. How do you like the Pats?
Great Video Joe. I use a 1997 M4700 Kubota with a 6 foot Rhino Bush Hog. The only time I have a problem overheating is when I try to cut the thick stuff in too high of a gear. Keeping the radiator clean also helps.
The 6' gives very little fits but couldn't cut brush or bushes this thick. I really think I have a belt problem. Seems to be the consensus. Wrenching is tractoring! Lol. Thanks for watching Bryan and great tip on the radiator.
That is a load to pull with a 73hp tractor but you managed just fine! 👍. On the drive lines that big I was taught to point the tractor on a down hill grade and let gravity do the work to push it on the shaft on the tractor…. Works like a charm. You’ve got an awesome place there, middle Tennessee is beautiful with the rolling hills of pasture and hay ground! Have a great weekend 👍👍🔥🔥

I only had one diesel engine in my life it was in a 32' sail boat. The temp gaqe would go up if I pushed it past hull speed 6.8 knots. I would bring it back down and it would run all day. I just needed to be patient. I taught I taw a puddy cat. It sure was a beautiful weekend.👍
Yes sir it was. Tony actually brought it to my attention that I had a belt loose so that could have led to the cooling system not working as well. Leave it to a retired Army mechanic to fix it. Thanks for watching Dale!
@@JoeTheFarmer I caught it before it began overheating because I kept hearing the sound of the fan belt slipping. Thank goodness I was familiar with that sound from many many years ago working on cars. Tim
@CliffsideStables That’s great info. Did you notice the ac belt mount lock nut was put on by the strongest man in Korea? I’m afraid I’m gonna break the stud
This machine has 62 hp at the pto; so an extra 10-20 hp would make a MAJOR difference. The tractor handles the mower great...no problems there. Just speed and heat.
I saw you blow off under the hood, but unless I missed it, I didn't see you clean the screens. Could that have been part of your problem? I remember in one of Kapper's videos, his machine got hot while brush hogging, and once he cleaned the radiator screen, it cooled right back down. I really need to get a fire extinguisher for my 7320 as well. I'm glad you put that in this video. I'm going to pick one up tomorrow.

The fire extinguisher is something I have overlooked for years. I was talking to Kap last night and he doesn’t have one in his RX either. Glad we can all guide and encourage one another. It was his idea that made me think of it!

You need cattle, I know you’re a deer hunter but you need some grazing animals to keep the grasses down that will help with cutting. Just my thoughts brother . Nice to see you filming again
That will happen my friend. I have 3 kids in middle and high school and until we get them on their path no more life forms are going to be my responsibility! Lol. This was cattle ground and they kept it under control; but as you know deer hate cattle and having too many head can be a job. We will have chickens, cows, goats, etc when the time is right and fair to the animals. I appreciate your input as always man! I have a whole lot filmed and will have it put together and posted soon. I really appreciate your support. 👍
Joe did you pull the 2 screens out of in front of the radiators and clean them? I Keep mine clean while cutting hay and never had a problem overheating. I also blow my radiators out with air and water with a Radiator Genie. Just a thought. Have a good week
Hey Bob! Yes sir I did. They were clean and free of debris. I am thinking this is a belt issue that needs to be dealt with. I know the tractor is undersized for this setup; but shouldn't overheat like that. Thanks for watching and sharing tips with the group!
Hey! I don't necessarily think it's the width; I think the weight of mine is part of the issue. The HD model (3515) is about 6k lbs. The 2515 I think is closer to 3k lbs. Also, we have some pretty serious hills. A 75 hp tractor should pull it ok, but a 12' should be no problem at all. Thanks for watching!

Didn't see the second part of your question, the app is weird like that. It was just under the red and turning the ac off helped. Wasn't super hot out; so strange. No regen going on.

@@JoeTheFarmer with less than 200 hours on my RX7320 I had to replace both fan belts. Go figure. Tim in Oneida

i used to run a land pride bat wing mower with an 85.5hpkubota m8540 wich it pulled and mow like it wasnt even on its that strong

I was going to say that’s a bit small tractor for that mower . I use my old 2290 case for that size mower .
It is a bit small; but it can usually handle the woody brush without issue. If all green; would be a lot for this machine.
