Wow, thanks Neil. I had looked for the Titan Implements website a few weeks ago and it was gone, I thought they had went out of business....good to know they have not and just changed their name to a more suitable one. I have a set of Titan Implement pallet forks I ordered from you guys a while back...they're great, heavy for my BX, but was all I could get a hold of at the time, and I have used them more times than I can count for things other than pallets. I'll take a heavier piece of equipment that's built here in the US any day. I can't remember the price but was extremely comparable to other brands out there, and was available...the more important part, they were available, unlike every other brand out there to include the Kubota version.
I had heard recently about the name change. I didn't realize the connection with TrailBlazer. We got the TB Max 2 and power-pack and we like it. I was hoping they would expand their line rather than stop. I hope parts will be available in the years to come. I discontinued getting emails from Titan attachments when I saw how they ripped off the design of The Big Tool Rack and started selling a cheap Chinese imitation. That was the straw that broke the camels back for me!
I have a set of forks for my BX from Titan Attachments, I knew what I was getting when I bought them, but so far one year later and they have been a great purchase.
I bought my pto driven wood chipper from Titan Attachments, it is outstanding, does an outstanding job. Sorry to hear Messicks doesn't like the company.
Great decision to change their name. I can't count how many videos I have watched where someone had purchased a Titan Attachments flail mower, thinking that it was the same as the Titan Implements version and having problems with it. A number of people commenting on their videos mention that they too have a "TITAN" flail mower, but it looks nothing like the one in the video and expressing how their flail mower has been working just fine. They don't even realize, that there were 2 companies, in effect using the same name.
We picked up a Titan 2 spindle, 8’ brush cutter. Category 2. I don’t know what economical is supposed to look like, but I get the impression it’s built like a tank. Secondly, we also just took delivery of a LS2 LaneShark front end cutter. They want to pair the motor selection to your tractor’s hydraulic flow. I’ve run the Laneshark for over 10 engine hours this week alone, and it works GREAT for trail maintenance/ pole saw alternative. Actually just got in tonight from running it all day today. Seems very nice so far. Regards, Marky
Five years ago I bought a Titan 10 foot brush hog. It weighs around 1500# and is rated for 2" material. At that time it was less than 1/2 the price of a comparable Bush Hog. Is it as good as the Bush Hog? IMHO no. The Bush Hog 10 footer unit was 1800# and built a little heavier. For my limited use though the TItan Implement (now IronCraft) is perfectly fine. Located in Athens Tennessee at the old Taylor Way plant. My father used to get implements from Taylor Way back in the day. My wife is from Athens and we lived there from 82-85. Great job Neil. Thanks.
I gotta tell you, I have a Titan "Attachments" three point snow blower and it is an absolute monster. I will put it up against the over priced Land Pride any day. The build quality is better and the use of heavier gauge steel is noticeable right away. That being said, I also have a Land Pride roto-tiller, land plane, and pallet forks. Iv'e had no issues with those either. but the only reason we have them is because I was able to roll them in with my tractor purchase and get eight years interest free financing.
And I bet that they were getting tired of getting calls about the other brand name equipment of a similar name. Especially if they were complaint calls.
Looking to get a Rear Finish mower and my Kioti tractor dealer carries IronCraft. Some other dealers around have LandPride or Bobcat. Just wondering if the IronCraft is a good value/quality machine for roughly $1000 less then LandPride or Bobcat or other recommendations?. Also looking at pallet forks from IronCraft, $200 less then Bobcat. Any Opinions are welcome.
Good info. I've always been confused about the two Titan brands - who makes what, and which ones are the good ones and which ones are the copycats (like the copycat of the Big Tool Rack).
The Ironcraft SGM finishing mowers are made by Shaktiman in India. I bought a new 6’ model that was distributed by LMC (Lowery Manufacturing) in Boaz, Alabama and it’s painted red. Good finishing mowers! Shaktiman claims to be the largest manufacturer of rotary tillers in the world.
I know that the Chinese Titan deletes reviews that are critical of their implements. I purchased a work platform from them (during Covid) and gave it a 1 star review after it would not fit on the forks (not enough pocket depth). That review is not on their website...go figure.
I don't see any mention of a buyout in this video or in the press release from July 28. It's the same company, same management. They just changed their name.
The IronCraft (Titan Implement) FL series flail mower is more or less identical to the Titan Attachment flail mower, which is a piece of Chinese garbage. Be careful how much credit is given to IronCraft.
Look up the standard flail mower from Titan Attachments, maybe a 6 foot mower. Compare the photos. While there are some minor differences, I believe it’s the same mower. Note the drop-down “foot” in the front that holds the mower up. Note the belt cover and mechanism for adjustment of belt tensioner. (There is no spring tensioner). Note the uprights from the mower housing to the top link - identical. Having owned a total waste of time Titan Attachments mower, I’m very familiar with it. The uprights actually shear where the crease in the steel is. The front foot jack breaks off. The roller doesn’t hold grease well and grass actually winds itself eventually into the bearing. The grease fitting locations are terrible. The only positives I can say is the gearbox seemed just fine, and the drum and knives never had a problem. I hope you’re right about the new Titan Implement FL series mower, but I believe they are the same.
Agreed. I bought a Titan flail and that thing wasn’t worth the money. Had all kinds of issues getting it set up and am not happy with how much it whines and how poorly it’s set up. It’s a value line for sure.
Good move for Titan. There is a real difference between the two brands.
I am an Ironcraft dealer in Missouri we really like there 12' and 15' batwing mowers

I have a 7' rear blade if theirs... it's one of the nicest I've seen. Nice pieces.

That's great. I don't dislike them, people just need to be aware of what they are buying.

I wonder where King Kutter comes in on that list. I have several of that brand for the past 20 years and have held up well.
Personal impression, not bad equipment, poor parts support.
Interesting.Thank You.

We need a review on the frf-165

Will the quality get better??
Called three Ironcraft “dealers” in my area. Not a one had ANY Ironcraft attachments.
I own one titan attachments thing : pallet fork frame and forks. No moving parts, it'll last about forever
I think this is a great change for them because titan implements is way better equipment than titan attachments
I hate when companies get bought usually…
Pretty sure the Titan Implement/Ironcraft flail mowers are made by Cosmo, designed in Italy and manufactured at their plant in India.
I bought some clamp on pallet forks from titan attachments and I got what I payed for
JUNK
Are the Ironcraft Flexwing Cutters made in Japan (cheaply made) or are they quality cutters made in Tennessee?
Tennessee
I meant to say China (not Japan), but thanks for the clarification. Keep up the great videos Neil!
This was a good move. It was too confusing for consumers.
Makes it easier to separate them from the imports.
How's about five minute Friday?
I know that the Chinese Titan deletes reviews that are critical of their implements. I purchased a work platform from them (during Covid) and gave it a 1 star review after it would not fit on the forks (not enough pocket depth). That review is not on their website...go figure.
Yeah, I thought Titan changed their name to separate themselves from Titan attachments. Great move on their part, if you ask me.
I never liked the guessing game when it comes to uptime.I'll stick with landpride,AMI,Horst, wallenstein.I know what Im getting.
Take a guess on which Titan prefers #inneilwetrust
They tried suing Titan Attachments?
without trademarks (which you would never get for the name Titan) its doubtful they can.
Three minutes gets longer ever week.
Why are you complaining? It’s good info. (And the word is “every”).
Inflation !! 😀
I'm still shopping for a donation. 🙃🙃🙃
Sigh should had Sued for copyright.
Starbucks will and has Sued anyone with simular or same name.
And with the name change they don't assume any liabilities from the company that they bought out
Separating from the Chinese knockoff name confusions

Totally different. I own one. Ironcraft is out of India, titan is china.

Titan has really turned me off by stealing the Big Tool Rack design literally copy and paste. Hard to support a company that does that.
What happened to this guy, he talks weird now. Interesting....
