All - I wish I could answer all of your questions, but I was merely a fortunate traveler who got to visit the layout. Bruce Friedman - the owner - has created something quite impressive.
Nice layout! , I like the no cow tipping sign. Great weathering on the on the cars ; the rust spots and grime very real. Also, I like the Septa crossing.
so amazed to see what this layout has turned into. gone are the days of conrail patch units, he keeps everything current and modernish. I grew up along the line at Claymont at the then so called "Society Drive Apartment Complex", now called "Whitney Apartments and as a 5 year old would climb through a hole in the fence to see the trains flying by in the summer and wintertime with ex Chessie, NYSW leasers, CR units as well as the early CSXT locomotives going between Philly and Wilmington. The orange dedicated juice train was a favorite of mine as it couldn't be late and it was a hot fast freight back in the late 80's! Now its just tacked onto the rear of an intermodal! Great footage, keep it up!
That layout is NOT huge, ITS GIANGANTIC!!! ITS VERY NICE, LOVE THEM DIFFERENT TIERS LOCOS YOU'VE GOT, N THAT UNIT IN THE MIDDLE OF YOUR FRIEGHT TRAIN, WOW. HOW COME, SOME OF YOUR UNITS DON'T HAVE THE AIR HOSES UNDER THEM COUPLERS, ALTHOUGH IT IS ALL NICELY DETAILED N SIDINGS AS WELL. THAT'S A MAGNIFICENT JOB 👏👏 YOU'VE DONE!!!👍👍👍👍👍
I've seen plenty great layouts, but most were lacking even the slightest bit of graffiti. Where you find freight trains, you'll find bombing, piecing and tagging. Your layout is pretty dope, my friend 🤓👍!
@Curt Christensen The way things are, brings a bit more realism to a great layout. As far as the way things aught to be, people have been leaving their mark on walls since cavemen walked the Earth.
Where did you find my trainer that's a very good setup I've been looking through the whole world trying to find these Collectibles but sadly I have not find none
Nice to see another B&O East End fan have a layout to be proud of. I especially like the crossing at Darby, Pa. Having lived there and grown up there, I spent a LOT of hours there chasing trains in the 60 and 70's. I will say that CSX is OK, but I'd prefer the old B&O. It's just not the same. Is that viaduct at 2:28 the one in Wilmington along I-95? It looks like it. Id really like to see this railroad one day......I live in Chester.
Wow man very cool 😝🤙 I love the attention to detail even putting the GPS boxes on the top of the trains nice touch 😁👍. Iv been playing around with HO trains DC that were given to me but most of the cars and locomotives have been abused and don't work or are cosmetically broken or both 😫 I have a bunch of track and a turntable (not as cool as yours)lol 5 switches and some landscapes stuff. In a few days I'm going to Trainworld in Lindenhurst NY and buying a starter kit for DCC and a Union Pacific #6910 EMD DD40AX locomotive my goddaughter is 6yes old and she loves watching and driving the set I have now so I want to get her into it young and make it a bonding experience. Iv been watching a lot of train videos and this 1 has been the best most detailed and cool display iv seen yet🤙😁👍✌
How did you construct your arched bridge. I am modeling the Boston bridge in statesville NC. I’d love any pointers you would be willing to pass along because I’m clueless on were to start haha

Thats is one awesome layout, and I do have a csx railroad HO scale trains myself, question how long does it take to make that so much big and huge, that's is real nice my friend.
Depends on the level of detail you want and how much of a "life" outside of railroad modeling you want. Can you dedicate 25-30 hours a week to the hobby, just building for years by yourself, or can you find a small group of friends willing to help?
Once upon a time, BLMA made rolling stock in HO and N. Now made by Atlas. Best looking TTX cars ever! Look for F89-4 flat cars - RTTX, JTTX, PTTX, TTAX, TTCX, TTX

That Darby crossing is extremely realistic!!! I used to get the Route 11 trolley across those tracks everyday

Great looking layout, I think I have watched this video over twenty times, great details.
That is a great layout, I also like the use of the DPU’s, some of the first I’ve seen modeled

Stunning layout, I've subbed
COOL. CSX is my favourite American class 1 freight railway. I plan on modelling some CSX engines and cars soon.

Bruce I must say you have one of the best in Delaware.
What a phenomenal layout! Looks like real life.
I spy a Guilford boxcar! Beautiful layout and Spirit of Revenna engine. I caught that engine leading a train in my latest Folkston video.
Such detail. Very realistic. WOW!

Awesome, awesome layout! Can't understand the thumbs downers? Jealous haters?
It’s a great layout
we didn’t see the turntable to be use with an actual train engine to be put on another track!!
Phenomenal!
Nice mid-train DPU at 1:46. Must have been a long train!
Very nice my compliments sir,,,,

Wicked Kool. ! 😎
Please make an MKT model layout.
I'd like to see the layout plan
1:54 Where did you get those flatcars
Once upon a time, BLMA made rolling stock in HO and N. Now made by Atlas. Best looking TTX cars ever!

What kind of diesel locomotives are those at 0:27 ? Never saw them before irl
They are F40PH-2 locomotives.
Does csx really operate the locomotive's shown at 0:27?
They only have 3 or so F40PHs. From what I've seen, their used on business trains.
CSX TRAIN CREW 👍
Very Huge
AWESOME!!!😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈
Awesome
Plot twist: it's an actual railroad and train
0:27 were did you get 9993 in ho scale and 9998 in ho scale
1:17 I lol'ed
I wish it was located in South Eastern Pennsylvania.
It's close - northern Delaware
How many weeks did you build this layout and Rail line is this
Hey, how did #3663 get in the picture?
Wasn't this featured in Model Railroader?
It may have been. I don't read MR regularly.
Does he have a channel?
What is the circle that moves the train around called? Its at 0:34
Jonas McGee it’s s turntable.
Como comprar um desse ?
Quero um ?
Robert John Davis My brothers name is Robert Davis
Wanna build me one
Do you have 2,000 SQ FT of wide-open space, with 9 ft ceilings? Cost is one million,
I like train’s.
Too many cops and that's a bad spot for a bus to be hanging out.
Ferromex
Laughing my ass off at 1:16
Take away the pridan if you wanted so you can take me away too
Cool layout but everything looks way to clean.. no weathering or anything.. makes it look to fake for my taste, but nice nonetheless
Awesome layout!!
