I just made this exquisite recipe about an hour ago. It is SO wonderful! I ate two bowls with two pieces of sourdough multi-seed bread toasted. A better meal I have not had! I ate it for breakfast❤️ Thank you for this beautiful recipe!
I'm making this now, but as an experienced cook I have to think the flavor would benefit from first sauteeing the garlic for one minute in the olive oil, then adding the water to stop the cooking, then adding the potatoes (and the salt WITH the potatoes, as potatoes without salt DURING cooking have very little flavor, and would absorb it while cooking and taste totally different than salt added near the end -- you would also probably end up using less salt overall this way, which is healthier).
so happy i found your channel. i started instinctually eating like this recently, throwing evoo in a pan w a ton of veggies, beans, nuts etc. but ran out of ideas. going to try all of your recipes they look great!
I love your videos, but I am blind and when there are no descriptions I don’t get anything out of them, it’s very sad. Do you think you could start doing more voiceover? Thanks very much!
Bill Crosby: I know this is a year later, but just in case you are still seeking the information ... The website says it makes 6 servings. I would assume that you could freeze it. You could try halving the recipe for your first go at it. www.mediterraneanliving.com/recipe-items/horta-greens-with-potatoes/ Hope this is helpful and finds you well. 🙂
I LOVE this recipe 😋... very easy to make+ its a quick, very satisfying meal.
Thank you! Can't wait to get the Foods of Crete recipe book!❤

your face skin looks so healthy! It must be from all this Mediteranean cuisine?
What olive oil do you recommend?
What happens to the stems? Can they be used in the dish too? Love
I'd roast them!
What is the best bread?
