Love this video so much! I took an unexpected deep dive into learning more about ghost notes after this and am loving the dynamic journey this started me on.

Brilliant Mike, great run through! The ghost notes are now demystified! I am comfortable with the kick pattern ........ right up to the point where I try and play the ghost notes over the top and then I seem to rush that first double kick for some reason. When I do get it right, it’s so satisfying, I’m just going to keep at it, at a slow tempo. Final note, don’t dispense with the hellos, I only subscribed because you are such a polite and friendly fellow 😀.

how do u get your microphone to not pick up the sound of you tapping on the drums as it is an electrical drum kit.
It is picking up the sound of the tapping a little bit! (listen to the hi-hat), but the drum sounds are coming through stronger :)
Aaron Comes is a dude, the snare makes it sound so sweet in the original
