First of all, I'm sorry about what you're going through Daniel. I saw it on one of your comments on your previous video. Please stay strong. I really have no context of what's going on but i hope things go better for you after so much change man. You're amazing! And no way!! Not the street fighter car, on dark green too... Ugh I'm going back to the US on Tuesday to sell mine and pick up my tools, I'm so mad. I'll miss that car but oh well. I'll make profit out of it thankfully, and that ugly beat up corona! They all ended up here i swear. Still a bit of a common sight over here, also big shoutout to those subaru pop up fogs! So cool!!
Wonderful place and cars...Long time no see and difficult times for me too. This is why, thanks to you, seeing these extraordinary cars somewhere in Japan brings me a little joy and rekindles a saving passion. Thank you for your work again!
This car yard has been a very interesting place over the years to see all they have there now Some very rare cars I do like how in a previous video with the old Toyota crown it was fuel injected yet we only got a carburettor on ours I am astounded by that and how far behind we were in this country Thanks Dan and keep the head up as best you can ❤❤🇦🇺
Great video Daniel. For the record, some of us are interested in the car from Street Fighter :-) The convertible Celica must have an interesting story. You definitely do not see those in the States anymore. And, if I'm honest, that's my lease favorite generation of Celica. One day I will make it down to Fukuoka though I don't know when my next trip will be. When I do make it, I'll need some recommendations.
I had an RA60 it was my first car. Was slow but reliable. It was ancient when I got it 20 years ago, can't believe it's now 40 years old.. My second car was a GA61 Double XX
That's an '83 to '85 Celica - the pre-facelift models had headlamps that popped forward - the glass was still visible when retracted. Facelift models move up to show the headlamp. My brother had a german '85 2.0 litre 105 PS XT model with a bodykit and 205/50 VR 15s on 15 inch Atiwe cheesehole Alloys. With a 36 cm leather sports steering wheel and no PAS you could hardly turn the wheel while standing 😉 The 2.0 litre (and 1,6 16 valve GT) models had Independant Rear Suspension and it was very capable in fast B-road driving. Concerning Celica Supras - Tom Cruise drove one in the 1993 movie The Firm. Apparently a Luxury version. Even has a towbar! Pic 68 on IMDB photo section of the movie. 😃 Enough Nerding, take care Daniel-San!
The rounded body version, there used to be a convertible one as well, built by outside coach-builders. It was owned by the brother of a close friend of the family, who was a car dealer, and he also knew William Towns the designer of the Mini Hustler kit car, the Railton convertible built on a chassis of a Jaguar XJS convertible, the Aston Martin Lagonda, DBS, DBS 4 Door Etc. My favourite show car and the Nissan 100SX it s cousin from Nissan. 308 number is a better number than 304!!!!!
Nice, for sure. At least you were in with a shot. In Australia, I don't think we ever got any GT grade Celica (in significant quantities), nor the convertible.
Hey Daniel, hang on in there buddy, hope work-life balance evens out for ya, life can be a f**kin challenge sometimes mate. Wish i could buy you a pint and have a good chat man. Hey i had to sell my 8 year project car due to it being a heap of shit, do you wanna know the only sticker i saved from it? Thats right mate. Look after yourself good buddy ♥️🤘
Ahh, it's all gone. The losses are ultimately wins... theoretically. Lol. You sold your project car because... Hahahahaha!! I truly laughed out loud. Cheers, man

I missed out on buying a Celica GT-S convertible just like that. Wow she's nice
Nice, for sure. At least you were in with a shot. In Australia, I don't think we ever got any GT grade Celica (in significant quantities), nor the convertible.
My sister had a silver Celica hardtop in the same or very close to the same year. I loved that car. She hated it for whatever reason...
Thank you
No! Thank U. Seriously. (I haven't been slack but...) Should have been uploading more frequently. My TH-cam journey means more to me than my FT job
