aww yes.. i had this low charge problem on my Sentra and it was just the regulator in the alternator, if you have a bad charge i would say change that first its a cheap fix if its just that..while the car is idling with a healthy charge system you should be seeing 13v plus, a cheap multimeter would have helped a bit here..
i have a jetta 3. my headlights are dull at headlight 11.44volts. test battery 12.87volts brand new. ground cable i ran a new on even tho it was solid. still same voltage. car off 12.87volts car on 11.44 volts at the battery. i never ever ever have car not starting problems but why is my car 11.44 volts when idling it suppose to be 14v ?
@@Rayray-ox7ln charge system is definitely not working right maybe a wiring issue making the alternator struggle but you should be seeing more volts on battery when its running any less means there is draw maybe not too much and your battery seems to be recovering when you start it next but something isnt right.
Man it could be anything , really difficult to diagnose a issue like this would be better if I had the car Infront of me ... But it sounds like your battery might be dead .. try jump starting it , if it starts up first time it's definitely your battery then you need to check if your alternators charging so you can diagnose what drained your battery or it might just be old age of the battery emif everything else is fine.
If nothing works if you have a new alternator, new battery and also tried with a new regulator and clean terminals and grounding and still not working then check the alternator fuse. That should work.
yes thats correct because once the battery is disconnected the car should run off your alternator current . if it dies it means your alternator isnt producing any current.

(when i remove battery wire, stop engine ) * * just Now i cant see battery warning light when ignition on.so i decided, dashboard battery warning light burn !!! thet time Repair shops close ,so i keep my car overnight .and next morning i went car 🤔🤔 now battery light working and battery properly charging ....😮😮 I ask mechanic what happen my car ??? He said , its alternator fault ..it sometime no charging ...sometime charging ..so i changed alternator ..but after few days again same happen .. He said change battery ,i do. But still same ..no one can repair it. ( Now i know my car not charging More then 2 hours running times . When engine become cool charging ... Please tell me what i have to do...please ... fucking Golf handles....yea so South African! I have an very old 77 Datsun 120y that I have changed to 1400 years ago. Yesterday I got a light smell of something electrical that was burning and then the charging light came on every time I slow down or stop and are on idle. So searching for all possible problems to start checking what might be wrong.
"Every week there's something wrong" pretty much describes my car after first 3 months of lockdown.
Battery not charging is this week's problem.

The oil pressure gauge on the left shows NO oil pressure, that would be a greater concern to me!

I think you suppose to take off the negative terminal and if car dies its definately not charging.
