Great grass. I hit balls off mine all the time. Turned me into a single digit handicapper. I also played on pas paulum grass in myrtle beach 4 times. Pine Lakes the grandaddy. Both turfs are very tough.

Where velcroman? Lots of people are talking about that but I have not seen it. We have some nice looking Zoysia on a test green here and it grows so slow that we could never get speeds comprable to Bent or Bermuda. Just because the setting is 0.3 dosent mean you are cutting the turf that low. Remember the rollers run on top of the turf. If you show me a place where Zoysia is stimping higher than 8 I will be glad to take a look.

Thanks for the info! Does zoysia grass stay green all year round with continued watering and year round warm weather? I am in Los Angeles and currently looking into my sodding options. Also, do you happen to know if zoysia is difficult to stripe?

Is paspalum a pretty grass like Zoysia? I How does it compares?
Can I seed in mid-Octuber in South Florida?
Is there an option of seed for Zeon zoysia?
On a Facebook group and here on youtube, I saw that some home owner had lots of issues with Empire Zoysia. I wonder if Zeon would be a better option or if it would be likely to have the same issues.
    Thanks

Wilson, I have a video on Paspalum that may help you. I would not use it over Zoysia unless you are in an area that has trouble with salt. No info on Empire but I like El Toro Zoysiagrass for homeowners. It seems to be one of the fastest growing Zoysiagrasses and can take a higher height of cut which is alwayse better for any home owner. Good Luck
