There's nothing like the Aussie bush, a river, a campsite and a camp fire to recharge ones batteries before having to go back into suburbia! Have ridden that Plains Station Road numerous times, and never get sick of it! Great photography again as usual Phil!
Now THAT was sure as hell some great riding Phil - maky of my favourites, but made me think I need to to Rocky River again in the direction you did, as I've only ever done it in the other direction.
It's a great run hey. And yeah I think it's more scenic running down the mountain 👍 That section with all the blind hairpin corners is a bit of worry, but still definitely a great motorcycle camping run 😎👍
It worked well Coobye. I had it under the air bed, and folded over the down sleeping bag. Then layed my riding pants and jacket over the top, pinning it down. Made a massive difference!

Gotta love that Rocky river road, nice scenery and great ride through there. How many K's have you clocked up on the Crf mate? I'd be keen for an overnighter if it wasn't so bloody cold Haha. Maybe hook up for a day trip. Awsome footage Phil 😉

Hi Shane, yet cool, not cold yet. Will be minus zero up in the mountains pretty soon. 5 to 10 degs Celsius here on the coast over night 👍 Tent is good, nice and dry, though I'd prefer a side entry model. Cheers mate 🍻
@@MidCoastAdventures Have a look at the MSR Elixir 2 or 3, I use the 3 as I like to have lots of room for my kit. They are not cheap but a solid investment. 👍🏻

A hiker went missing up around Mt Norman a couple of years ago. They never found him. A bloke in his 60’s.
